AVOID. After discovering there is no customer parking on-site, although there is a walk-up window (????), business owner insisted that my out-of the way, temporary, makeshift parking space, could not be tolerated. Surprising that the owner would drive away business due to their own lack of communication to customers. Perhaps I shouldāve noticed the fact that I was the only customer on site anyway. Although Deb finally suggested I park across the four-lane highway, I politely offered to take all of my business to Dunkinā Donuts also across the highway. Ample parking there and common sense abounds. Love to shop local when itās appreciated, not the case here!
Update in response to owner:
Deb, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, your version of events mischaracterizes the issue. I took special care to park out of the way of any potential customers wishing to use the drive-thru (although there were none) since I chose to utilize the walk-up window. You also did not āaskā that I move, you yelled across the parking lot and demanded that I move my vehicle. At no point was I ever asked. When I asked where I could park, you pointed across the highway and said āacross the street.ā If you intended to mean an adjacent, unrelated parking area, it should have been more clear, or you should point in the right direction. You could also avoid this issue by posting a few small signs indicating where parking is available for anyone utilizing the walk-up window. (Instead of treating customers like a nuisance and pettily implying they are blocking an empty drive-thru. The only time I saw a blocked drive-thru was when your personal vehicle completely blocked the entrance because you were yelling my direction.)
You are correct that your staff offered a free drink to compensate for the rude experience and they also stated that this is a common occurrence. To be clear, a free drink does not excuse or resolve this issue. The fact that youāre touting such a cavalier attitude toward resolving customer issues is, ironically, my reason for the 1 star review. Nonetheless, if I received a personal apology from you and acknowledgement that you, as the owner, should have approached the situation differently, I would reconsider patronizing your business in the future and perhaps modifying...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never been here before, but we got to the window and asked what flavors they have. She said thereās like 50 of them but they donāt have them listed on the window. I asked if they were on the website and she said she didnāt think they were there either⦠Iām like umm, so how is one supposed to order then, as she was not very friendly and didnāt seem willing to tell me what they were. I ended up quickly googling it and another customer had taken a photo of a few flavors, so I ordered an iced heather latte. My husband got a hot mocha and he said it was good, so the extra star is for him. I however did not like my latte. Whatever syrups they use, definitely gave it a too sweet and artificial flavor. Iāve been to many coffee shops with large flavor lists and they have them printed out and simply hand you the list. At the very least, the customer should be able to look them up on the website. Not a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give more stars I would. I don't usually take time to stop and write reviews unless I genuinely am swayed to. I have been going to this coffee stop over a year now, and today my card was read as unapproved. They had already made our drinks, and the total was about $11. They went ahead and gave us our drinks, and said to just get them next time!!!! Which of course I am going to get their money to them today, but, I was just really surprised and grateful that they were so kind and understanding. You don't see that in many businesses now days. This is not an advertisement that they will do this for everyone, and I recommend, (as I will,) bringing cash just in case something goes wrong with your card. On top of it being a 10 star experience today, the coffee and smoothies are ammmazzzing so def give them a try if you...
