We were walk-ins on a Wednesday night and although it was busy they were able to find us a place at the bar which was fine for us! The atmosphere was what I would call cozy elegance. The service was terrific! Our server, Matt, was very attentive despite the crowd and a few other people-owners?-- made a point of asking us how we were doing, if we needed anything. Very warm and welcoming for two people who had no reservations during a busy dinner hour. To top it off the food was terrific! We love bread and there was a variety of good choices. The butter was seasoned and they also gave us an olive oil and spice mix for dipping. The salad (included with dinner) was robust and the creamy bleu cheese dressing we ordered also had a generous portion of crumbly bleu cheese along with it-nice touch! For an entre I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with breaded chicken. The sauce was thick and rich and the chicken was some of the most tender that I've ever had--and I'm an Alfredo nut! The husband had your basic spaghetti with sausage and he raved about that too! Sausage or meatballs come with the pasta dishes, you do not have to pay extra. And the prices were very reasonable, similar to what we pay in Rochester NY so no gouging going on here! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We will most certainly be making DeFinas a MUST GO whenever we come...
Read moreReservations were made via Google for 645pm however it was not busy on a Friday night which was surprising. A++ service (even though the waiter pointed out I pronounced bruschetta incorrectly lol) The atmosphere was cosy and romantic. The food was A+. The complementary bread basket has 3 types of bread and table includes Venice Balsamic and Olive oil which was fantastic. Can't wait to go to town to buy some. Being an out of town visitor I was pleasantly surprised. Menu has lots of specials of the day. Hard to choose what to try first. Ended up getting all appetizer plates to sample as much as possible. Will be returning to taste more of the menu. The charcuterie board has 4 meats and cheeses, olives, banana peppers and pickled onions including 2 toast points (burned :( ) the bruschetta has a goat cheese base and alot of onion mix which I loved, the burrata caprese was delicious and the $16 Ms style jumbo crab cakes appetizer blew my mind. As a visitor from Maryland I had to try it and it was similar to a Pappas crab cake at a much lower price point. I highly recommend eating at Lucarellis !! I can't wait to return and try more of the menu - thank you...
Read moreWe were craving some pasta and decided to stop by. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside was decorated nicely.
We were greeter by staff and our server let us know menu specials and happy hour offerings.
We were offered a bread basket with packaged butter. The bread wasn’t particularly great and didn’t seem fresh but tasted good otherwise. I would’ve preferred an olive oil dip or some nice butter but the packaged butter was fine.
I ordered the seafood linguine and my husband got lasagna. We also had a tricolore salad. The salad was good but felt unnecessarily pricey for the quality. But I suppose endives aren’t easy to find in Florida. The Parmesan cheese was perfection. Dressing was good - we asked to have on the side. Not a fan of overdressed salads.
We really enjoyed our entrees. The seafood tasted fresh, even the mussels did not taste frozen. Everything was cooked well and the sauce was delicious. Portions were generous.
Tira misu for dessert was okay - less boozy that what I’ve had in the past. Something felt lacking. Didn’t like the chocolate chips on it.
Overall, good...
