So I came into this place around two weeks ago and I decided just now to write a review. I come in in about Five which is 15 minutes until you close on saturday. I come in. I want to just get a coffee and maybe a little snack before I start to wind down. When I walk in, the barista which I think was named annie or anna or something like that is engrossed in her phone and barely looks at me when I walk up to her. I go to order and she gives me this attitude and sign as she takes my order. once Iām done ordering, I go to sit down to wait for my food and sheās on her phone while she should be making my order. around seven minutes later, I get my food and drink and I go to sit down and eat and she starts making me leave because your store is closing apparently. However in the service industry, it is not customary to kick customers out when they are eating. And then for the cherry on top, when I leave and walk back to my car, I look back and sheās not even cleaning up, but she is on her phone yet again. Also, the drink wasn't even made correctly, i asked for a macchiato and I received basically a latte with the amount of milk that was in it. This connection with coffee is clearly reflected in this new coffeehouse, which has been open for less than two months. I tried a cappuccino today, and it was rich, bold, and flavorful, made properly with frothy milk--a wonderful coffee experience. Inside, the shop is clean and spacious, with comfortable tables for chatting, working, or relaxing. I chose to sit outside because the weather was beautiful. The outdoor seating includes tables with large shade umbrellas and attractive flower boxes that create an inviting vibe. I also want to commend the owners for their generosity. While I was outside, a homeless person wandered nearby, and one of the owners kindly offered them a cold drink. When I asked if they knew the person, the owner said no, but they simply wanted to help someone in need. Starting a business in these challenging times is tough, and their kindness deserves recognition. I will definitely be returning and recommending Serenity Sips...
