I recently moved to the east side of town and heard good things about your restaurant. Last night I decided to give it a try, and sadly, I think it will be my last time there.
Mondays you offer 35 cent wings, with the purchase of a drink and minimum order of 10. On my table I found a laminated placemat with the "guidelines" for the wing special. Easy enough, right? Evidently not. Being as though it was my first time there, I was curious to try a couple of your sauces before making my order. I was told by my server, JoAnna (who was awesome, and my complaint is not about her), that I couldn't try the sauces on wing night because of how busy it gets. My friend and I were seated just a few minutes after 8, and there were only a few other patrons in the restaurant at that time. I could understand if I was there during the peak time, but this was clearly not it (which means there was no excuse for it taking 10 minutes to bring a pitcher of beer to our table, either). She was kind enough to bring me your signature sauce to sample, in spite of this, "rule."
According to the "guidelines," you must order a minimum of 10 wings, in increments of 5. JoAnna told me I could order two different rubs, so I decided to order the Jamaican Jerk for my first 5 and I would decide on a second rub later. She asked me if I wanted any dipping sauces, and when I requested ranch she told me I would have to order the dressing boat. (Seriously? $2.49 for two 1 oz sides of dressing and a few celery sticks? You are out of touch with reality.) I declined. The wings came out and I was immediately disappointed. Jamaican Jerk is a terribly misleading description of this dry rub that's nothing more than seasoning salt and some pepper. (If you'd like an ACTUAL Jamaican jerk rub, I'd be happy to forward you some recipes.) When I was almost done with the first five wings, I asked JoAnna to switch to the Teriyaki sauce, at which time she informed me that the cook told her the wings had to be ordered in increments of 10, and that I couldn't split the flavors. I relented, and said that was fine, and to just bring me the remaining 5 in the Jamaican Jerk. A little while later, I get a plate with 10 wings, half teriyaki and half Jamaican Jerk. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager because I wasn't going to eat a total of 15 wings, and nor was I paying for wings that I didn't order.
The manager refused to talk to me.
Please read that last sentence twice. The manager refused to come over to my table and talk to me, and instead sent my server to tell me they would not charge me for the additional 5 wings. He was much more interested in working behind the bar and flirting with one of the female patrons. First of all, that is cowardly and rude -- this man should not be a manger of ANY establishment. Secondly, my issue was much more than just an additional 5 wings being charged to my bill. Your "guidelines" for your wing night are evidently inconclusive, and your staff is clearly not properly trained. Again, this issue is not about JoAnna - she was extremely generous and friendly, and handled this situation gracefully. My problem is with your establishment's poor management and inability to properly inform your staff and customers about...
Read moreThis is a hole in the wall... right next to another dump Trickshots. As soon as you púll up you can see all the drug dealers/ ex convicts standing outside this place and Trickshots waiting for their customers smoking cigarettes and drinking beer especially on the weekends. I've been to this place and you can tell the managers know what's going on but do nothing about it and are even very friendly with all the drug dealers which makes me wonder if they are getting " good tips " to actually look the other way. So if your into that type of thing this is the hot spot because you can get all the drugs you want but if you want to actually go out and feel safe and have fun with your girlfriend or boyfriend go spend your hard earned money somewhere else because this place is just filled with trashy type people. Maybe one day they will wake up and realize that drug dealers destroy local businesses they don't bring in regulars.. People want to feel safe when they go out they don't want to feel like they are on the...

I would defiantly recommend if you are in the mood for beer...
