I was actually reminded of this place by someone who told me during the summer / off season they have $6 BOTTOMLESS wine. Thats right - just keep on filling it up for a 1 time fee of $6.00 with the purchase of an entree.
So my husband and I walked in and sat at the bar area. They have $5.00 happy hour appetizers. We were meeting another couple there.
Bianca was our bartender. She had a great friendly personality. She gave us the specials, the wine menu and the regular menu.
I had a Chicken Milanese upside down salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a butterflyed out on my plate then the spring mix was on top of it with some tomato and fresh mozzeralla with a balsamic vinegar drizzle. It was so yummy you wanted to finish it all but you just couldn't.
My husband had the Porterhouse Pork Chop topped with Marsala sauce. He said it was delicious.
The couple we met one had the double french dip and the other had the seafood linguine. Both said their food was delicious and would be back.
The only thing I wish they would change is the rug on the floor by the front door. We walked in and sat at the bar where our back was to the door and it was very hard to move the stool due to the rug...
Read moreBest place to eat in the Western communities! I have been eating here since they opened and love every meal. Today was Pistachio crusted Salmon with string beans, and I opted for the delicious spinach instead of a starch. started the meal with my favorite beef and barley soup. If you want a great appetizer, we went with the Bacon rapped Figs. Gorgeous night for outside seating!
Back here again with another plate of the wrapping figs, and tonight, I had the farmers salad and the Ahi Tuna appetizer for my meal. It was just so good and fresh, and I had to start off with a cup of the French Onion Delicious soup!
We made our way for dining at Devine Bistro, which is my favorite Wellington area restaurant! Thank goodness we had a reservation as the place was jam-packed rockin' tonight!
Have I mentioned this is my favorite Western community restaurant! Today, we were in to celebrate my wives' step moms 80th bday early before we went to a show. I went with Osso Boco, which was terrific! fell off the bone and melted in mlyour mouth. My wife went with the Butternut squash ravioli and scallops. and the other dish at the table was the Salmon Mediteranean special over salad. As always, everything was...
Read moreThe food was amazing. The small market salad was perfectly sized, and was sweet but not overwhelming without the gorgonzola. I was trying to eat low-carb, but I have a weakness for risotto. I asked if the shrimp and scallops were served with a spinach and bacon risotto or spinach, and a bacon risotto. The server and I misunderstood each other, as it was the first option, but she brought me a side of garlicky sauteed spinach that had plenty of bite and I couldn't stop eating. Although I couldn't find the bacon in the risotto, it was creamy and was one of the better risottos I've has in my life. The scallops and shrimp were juicy with a hint of heat. I would eat this again in a heartbeat. My father got the seafood linguine over spinach instead of pasta (also watching carbs). The garlic wine sauce was savory and well-bodied. I couldn't stop sneaking bites of his food. My mother got the crab-stuffed flounder, which was my least favorite of the 3 dishes, as the fish was a bit bland, but the crab stuffing more than made up for it. She had a side of asparagus that were soft without verging on mushiness, and more of that delicious spinach. Our server was extremely accommodating and helpful. I can't...
