REVIEW DINOS, Holiday FL: At 9:30pm I called in 2 Philly Cheese Steak and fries, all the way, with all toppings.
We were told 10minutes, nobody asked a name which I thought was odd. At 9:55 when my husband arrived he was told they would start making the sandwich.....
The food was ready at 10:09 and my husband came home for us to eat.
The styrofoam containers (2) contained a sub each.
The first sandwich contained a half a slice of tomato in the center of the sandwhich. ONE HALF SLICE. No lettuce to be found and the meat was just as hard to find.
We thought that must be a mistake, we order there ALL THE TIME. once a week minimum as of late.
We opened the second container to find an even sadder sandwich. one half of the sandwhich was basically mushrooms, there was no lettuce on this sandwich either but we did find the other half of the one slice of tomato.
I should mention, each box contained about 7 french fries... not even a full potato worth!
None of this would have been a problem, as I said, we eat there often. Things happen.
Tommy closed up the boxes and headed back to the restaurant at 10:20 in hopes of getting the food we were expecting and have gotten there before.
When he arrived, the man was immediately defensive and said that it had been an hour since we had left. The time does not dictate what he put on the sandwich to begin with. The complaint had nothing to do witht he TEMP of the food. When my husband explained he asked for the sandwich all the way, we were told that "if you want lettuce and banana peppers on your sandwich you should put them on at home"
THEN WHY DO YOU DO IT EVERYOTHER TIME WE ASK WITH NO HESITATION?
After that comment, we will not be returning, we will no longer recommend Dino's. Not unless you want to be told to "do it at home"

Upon calling to discuss this issue, the owner answered and quickly confirmed the salad was intended for someone else, recognizing the error but then, quite unprofessionally, demanded I return the dish for correction. Given that I live an hour away, this request was impractical and showed a blatant disregard for my time and inconvenience. It's not merely about the inconvenience; it's about acknowledging an error and providing a fair solution, like offering a refund or ensuring the order is corrected on a subsequent visit, without resorting to arguments or dismissing the customer.

I placed an order online when the food arrived it was missing some toppings, I called the store to advise them of the missing toppings and was told sorry they ran out. I advised it would have been nice for you to call and tell me so I could have cancelled the order, Where I was then told they would bring me a bag of pepperoni, which I declined and told them I wanted my money back.
