Subway — Restaurant in Florida

It has been several years since I last visited Subway, but I have to tell you, that Steak and Cheese sub they advertise on the commercials was outstanding. You know sometimes commercials tend to take a bit of creative license so that when you actually get to see the product up close it is not even close to what you were expecting.....LET ME SAY RIIGHT HERE AND NOW......this sub was every bit as good as it was shown on TV. Three cheers for you Subway. The staff was nice and courteous and fixed my sub exactly the way I wanted. I purchased the Monster Steak and Cheese footlong sub with white bread. I think the next time I visit Subway, it will not be a matter of years , months, or weeks. I am looking forward to adding them as a permanent restaurant option and going back there is a few days. It right there every day I drive past it on my way home from work. Any tine I can add a restaurant that I can stop in and order from over Uber or GrubHub is a big plus. Uber Eats and GrubHib may be easy and convenient but the costs have really gotten too high to use as much as I use to.....I digress..... I used to LOVE this location, I'm a Subway regular, and this particular location is lucky to have the employees they do.. I actually live closer to the one on 54, but come here because of the service. However, the recent changes in ownership/management have negatively affected this. The last couple of times that I have stopped in for dinner, there are only 2 employees that have been bombarded with online and instore orders. It's completely chaotic.. Previously, it was always staffed properly enough to service the customers and not put the employees they do have through hell. I'm not sure if they have recently lost employees or that the new folks in charge are too greedy to staff properly. Either way, it's sad to see. This location has always had busy dinner rushes and PREVIOUSLY handled it with grace, but now they're short staffed and too busy for only 2 people to handle...

I used to go to the subway and had such an amazing experience. I recently returned to the subway three times this past week and the first time the new manager and heavyset blonde woman was outside smoking cigarettes at the front door with another young man, I’ve looked past that and got my sub and left The second accession same exact thing was happened on the third occasion I could smell the scent of marijuana so strongly and she would not excuse herself from the front door I immediately walked in got my sub. It was a very nice young woman working. I will say that she was extremely skinny and had glasses. She made my sub amazing but when I went to leave the other lady, she literally threw a joint on the ground in front of me. I will never return back to the Subway®.
