I've ordered take out from this particular location many times. Last night, I ordered take out from them again. It was simple: 3 entrees, an extra order of rice and beans. Since my husband was picking it up, I placed it under his name. Before hanging up I confirmed the price ($53) and the location. The employee said specifically they were on Military Trail between Summit and Gun Club across from a car dealership. My husband arrived at that very location and the employees said there was no order for him and he was at the wrong location. He explained that the employee on the phone had said regarding the location. No response from the employees. He phoned me and I confirmed the phone number I had dialed, but, at first, none of the employees knew the phone number! They had to look it up and realized he was indeed at the right location. They offered no apologies. They started looking through the orders and found our order under the name Kaitlyn. Really? Kaitlyn? That's so far from what my husband's name sounds like it's pathetic. This entire exchange lasted between 15-20 minutes just to pick up dinner, which, by the way, cost $10 more than what was quoted over the phone. Before leaving my husband asked if everything was in the bags, he got blank stares and no response. He asked again, they seemed to snap out of their dreamlike state and said yes. In all of this there was not a single apology for the confusion and delay. No offer to right the wrong was made and our family received a cold dinner. Management, please develop a customer service program or hire a customer service consultant to train your employees on how to turn these situations into a positive experience. A well trained, customer focused staff can do that. It's not enough to have good food if you have bad service. One last thing, this was not a language issue. My husband and I are both bilingual...

TLDR: We both got Food poisoning

I usually love this location, it's the best in West Palm, and I usually get very attentive and nice servers. However, this time, we got a server, Henry, who was very rude and had to be told multiple times to come to our table as he was busy talking with other servers. Didn't bring any bread. We had to ask for it. And it ended up coming out with our food. I get the exact same meal every time I come here. The baby churrasco. I have a picture from when I got it the last time and it was a perfect. This time, not only was it very very tiny, but it had a hole in it? Like the steak was literally an inch and a half width at the end and had a giant hole in it and was wayyyyy overcooked. I tried to tell the server, Henry, who I had to wave down, and I showed him a pic of what I got the week prior and what it always looks like, and he kept saying "you want bigger steak?" Acting like he wasn't understanding what I was saying. I kept telling him I order this every week, and it isn't this tiny or with a hole in it, showed the picture of what I got the week prior, but he wasn't listening so he took it away. Kept telling us he serves this every day. We got another one and he upgraded us to the normal churrasco? Which I didn't ask for and he acted like he did us a favor? Then told us next time we want a bigger steak to order the full size. This was not what I wanted, but I ate it and paid regardless.

Both me and my partner have had food poisoning since Sunday, August 10th. It's now Tuesday August 12th. I will never be going back to this location after this. I really feel like they messed with our food to be spiteful. If you get this server, Henry, watch out. Guy has a nasty attitude for no reason and will probably have someone mess with your food. He had a problem with us the moment we...

Have had their food many times, mostly from other locations. I placed a takeout order at approx 7:15PM. Was told 10-15 minutes. Arrived 7:35PM. After helping the takeout order ahead of me, I was cashed out at 7:40PM. Finally at 7:55PM, I asked for a refund. The hostess assured me it was ready. I told her "it should be... I phoned it in nearly 45 minutes ago". The order was for 2 sandwiches with plantain chips and 2 cups of soup. Nothing that should take 45 minutes. Upon arriving home I discovered that the soups, which were stacked in a bag, had leaked all over the floor mat. Evidently, the way too thin lids they use had melted under the heat of the soup, which they are supposed to seal in the container. The management should do a stack test on their soup containers, riding home on or near someone, could be a scalding issue. Home late, car mat to clean, sandwiches too dry(roast pork), plantain chips were good (ya-a-a-y) ... won't be back to this location ... will try other locations again ... but not until the soup smell is out of...

The atmosphere is cozy and pub like (with out all the noise) We love the wait staff. The whole snapper is fresh , sweet, moist and delectable. Cooked to perfection. The 1/2 roasted chicken was moist and flavorfully marinated. Both we're served with ample servings of your 3 choices of side. We chose yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. (Ok it's not carb free... But it's well worth it. Enjoy yourself.) 2/8/2020 Went back again tonight. Ok we don't vary our orders, Ha! Why mess with perfection? I got the snapper again, perfect. Moms chicken was cooked to moist perfection. I chose mixed veggies instead of plantains. They looked so good my mom got jealous and ordered a side too. Our friend got the special with chicken/ beef/ and pork. She said it was delicious. Finished the meal with cafe con leche. Perfect dinner. (The pics of tonight's dinner are after the wine. )

This was hands down the most authentic Cuban food I’ve had since moving from Miami—and that’s saying a lot. I ordered the picadillo with white rice and black beans, and from the first bite, I was taken right back home. The flavors were rich, comforting, and exactly what Cuban food should be. What really stood out was how the aroma filled the office. Everyone kept asking, “What is that amazing smell?” They were surprised to hear that there’s Cuban food this good right in the area—many didn’t even know it existed. Needless to say, I’ll be spreading the word. In fact, several of my coworkers are already planning to come back with me. When food sparks that kind of conversation and excitement, you know you’ve found a gem. I’m looking forward to trying more from the menu—and maybe introducing a few more folks to their new favorite lunch spot.

Since 1989, when my former boss (A dissident Cuban attorney who did not enjoy Fidel Castro's favor - need I say more as to how he ended up in South Florida?) first introduced me to the Don Ramon Cuban Cuisine restaurant on South Military Trail in West Palm Beach, I've been a fan! I'm from Miami originally, and so have enjoyed Cuban food my entire life. And I can confirm that you'll have to go to Miami - or Havana - to find an equivalent of the authentic food and excellent service that you'll experience at Don Ramon! The restaurant offers traditional favorites, including; Ropa Vieja (shredded meat cooked in tomato based sauce); Boliche (pot roasted in its natural jjuices and topped with the chef’s special gravy; and my favorite, Vaca Frita (USDA Choice blade meat shredded and cooked in a house-made tomato sauce with onions, and garlic).
