I am a door dash driver, I've been to this location 20+ times picking up orders for customers. The employees told me, if the order is ready and the name matches up, then to go ahead and get the order and head out. They keep the orders up at the bar, sometimes I have to wait for the order. But that is not why I gave a 1 star review. Tonight I got a door dash order, I walked in through the main entrance, and proceed to the bar. A male employee was helping a customer, and there were 3 to go orders waiting. I checked the name on one bag, checked my phone, and when I was putting the order in the hot bag, the male employee said to me with a bit of a rude voice "Do you have the right order?" I tell me yes then I say the customers name. I got half way away from the bar, when the same guy then says "next time you come in here, you HAVE TO wait for assistance with door dash orders" I then turn around, and walk back up to the bar. I tell him that I come in here every day with an order or two, and I never have a problem with picking up the food, and that the employees told me in the past if the order is ready and the name matches up, then to go ahead and get it?? He then says "I've never seen you door dash here" ummm what?? I then say lol, "I've never seen you here either" he calls for a lady she tells me the same thing, witch I see her there a lot, and she tells me not to be grabbing the orders and walking out???? They should keep the orders in the kitchen if they don't want door dash drivers to just walk in and grab the customers food. ALL employees should be on the same page about the pick up rules. If one employee tells me one thing, and another employee tells me something different, than I will say something. I wasn't rude to the guy or the lady, but they gave me an attitude. I'm there to pick up orders for YOUR CUSTOMERS. if the order is ready, and on the bar waiting for my pickup. Then why should I have to wait for who knows how long, for an employee to assist me? Because if this is the case, I will start letting the door dash customers know that your order is ready, but I cannot pick it up, because the employees have not came to assist me. Is that what Ruby Tuesdays want me to do, do they really want the customers to leave them a bad review, because the delivery driver can't just grab there food and go? I'm pretty sure there food is amazing, they just need to better treat drivers for different...
Read moreWe moved up here a year ago and started going to Ruby Tuesday. We have had good waiters and waitresses. They just brought Luis in as the kitchen manager a couple weeks ago. He comes around to make sure your food is ok and is very pleasant and cares for the customers. It is the best thing they did. Thank u Luis. I want to add more great waitresses and waiter we have had when eating at Ruby Tuesdays. Thank u Ivy, Hailey, and Jacob. They are so caring and go out of their way for the customers. Keep up the great work. I now have to add negative remarks. For the past 2 weeks it has been unbearable in the restaurant with no AC. We stayed but a lot of people walked out. It has been so hot and the AC is not working. I am sure it's the original being over 20 years old. Something needs to be done immediately. And the carpet is so old and looks terrible. Why hasn't this location been kept up. Also the parking lot has so many pot holes. They need to get these holes fixed. Who in the corporate office handles these issues. Why are these issues being ignored for years. I talked to Bill the General Manager at this Inverness location and asked why are things not being done. This is not fair to the long time customers who have supported this location with business. Something has to be done. The sign outside the restaurant has been gone since the hurricane last year. Why hasn't it been replaced. A year is way too long not to have put a new one. I hope these issues are taken seriously because u are going to lose a lot of customers. Thank u from a caring customer. Again the AC has been down again for a month. I cannot believe the corporate office does not care for their employees or customers. And nothing else since my last text has been done with the carpeting and the bar that is falling apart. I feel bad for the managers and employees working in these conditions....
Read moreRuby Tuesday's in Inverness, FL has a ghost/virtual kitchen called "Wow Boa." I am not new to virtual or ghost kitchens. Overall, my experience has been good. Let me tell you something....(come closer) THIS IS TRASH!
Their menu portray the food as Asian fusion. It has a panda express feel on the website. Thisbis American fusion pretending to be Asian. The only Asian connection is the Bao. The food does not taste good. Maybe to a novice palette it's different than your average fare. Even to a nonfoodie I wouldn't think this is good. Do you see my photos? This "meal" is $20.12 with tax. You can get a steak, 2 sides and a drink for the same price off the Ruby Tuesday's menu. You're literally get a half cup of the entrée and half cup of rice. I waited over 20 minutes for this "combo" and my Bao filling was still cold. The oil from the cheeseburger bao was congealed. Hoooow? I live 4min away from the restaurant. There's no way the inside of the bun got cold that quickly. It was never hot to begin with. Oh and you cannot order and eat this in Ruby Tuesday's. It's take out according to the hostess. You can't order extra white rice. I should have known at this point the kitchen is a cash grab, but I was trying to give the benefit of doubt. I thought maybe I could order extra at the restaurant. But No, it's all 3rd party based. And I can't see an Asian inspired anything selling fried rice but not white rice. It's contemptible. The only reason they got 3 stars from me is because the bartender was really sweet and accommodating. The staff I interacted with was nice, to me. They deserve some kudos. Mr. Sellers and corporate need to rethink Wow Bao. It's more like, "Wow Run Now!" Skip...
