10/30/23 -Long story short - I have never in the 6 years I’ve known my boyfriend witness him complain about customer service or the quality of his food . We have both worked in customer service and the food industry our whole lives and actually met while working at a firehouse subs 7 years ago (under the same management ). And while things do change , I’m quite certain “fully involved “ and the level of professionalism expected out of management is not one of them. We can both understand a “bad day” but the manager on duty today was miserable. She cut him off in the middle of ordering several times and he finally stopped and looked at her and explained that he wasn’t finished . She just stared back with a disgusting look, rolled her eyes and asked if he meant he didn’t want a combo? I told her “ no, he wasn’t finished letting you know what he wanted on the sandwich . “ He clearly stated no onion and added jalapeño and honey mustard. Our original plan was to dine in but her attitude honestly made me want to just go down the street to subway so we took it to go. I had a feeling the order was wrong and told him to check the receipt , but we weren’t given one . We get home and low and behold there were no tomato’s but loaded up with onion on his sandwich . If she wasn’t so rude , neither one of us probably would have blinked an eye but we decided to take the food back and just get it refunded . I decided to sit this one out and wait in the car because my mouth can sometimes get the best of me . He came back to the car shaking his head and proceeds to tell me she had the audacity to tell him what he said and what he didn’t . She insisted he said “no tomato” . There’s one thing I know for sure by working in the same industry , even if he did … the customer is always right but I know he didn’t because he’s eaten the same damn sandwich the same way for over 16 years almost daily and had she had slowed down and listened instead of rudely rushing him she would have probably gotten the order correct . All this to say the management SUCKS at this location . I hope the owner gets this issue...
Read moreWe ordered three sandwiches through DoorDash the young man that dropped it off was very professional, and the bag was sealed. There was clearly three sandwiches on the receipt. There was only two sandwiches in the bag so we tried calling for 20 minutes to get a hold of somebody to let them know they missed one of the sandwiches. The manager finally answered as we were pulling into the parking lot, and right off the bat was rude in the phone. The manager was completely unprofessional and rude and condescending, and was about to replace our sandwich when the Girl making the sandwiches very rudely said you need to take it up with DoorDash and I said did you not make the sandwiches and he said yes said yes I said did you not seal the bag he said yes. All I wanted is to have my sandwich replaced and he told me to take it up with DoorDash very rudely. Then I told him I would take it up with corporate and he very rudely told me would you like the owners number and I said no I’ll take it up myself and I walked out empty-handed without the $14 sandwich that I purchased through DoorDash we will never order them from them again and we were regular customers. This may not mean much to a huge company but for someone that works hard for their money and lives paycheck to paycheck it’s very upsetting. Read moreI came in after a long day at work and just wanted a firehouse sub It was 8pm on a Friday night I ordered and opted to dine in( thinking I could eat quickly and get out of there so the employees could finish up and go home. I stood in front of the soda fountain patiently as an employee swept a rug vigorously in front of me... no problem, I get it , they are in a hurry to leave. I looked for a table and not 1 table was clean and there was food and dirt all over the floor. I cleaned my own table and waited for my sandwich. Then 2 more employees started sweeping the floor around me and even around my feet. I then asked one of them where I should move where they already cleaned which was at the front. I moved my food there but there was trash on the counters and just couldn’t understand why they felt that it was okay to stir up all the dirt and whatever was on the floor around the only customer in the place. Extremely poor management and customer service. I asked where the manager was and she wasn’t even in the store. Why don’t they ask me to open my mouth so they could dump the dirt straight into my lungs !?? Especially at a time when this flu virus is raging in our town. It’s too bad because I love the product And always have ... but I will never come back to this location. SWEEP AND CLEAN...
