visited this waffle house at night and the server Kayla took my order. First, she pretended to be afraid to stand by the table where I was sitting and took my order from a far. Thats fine if she was making sure she was distanced properly; however when she proceeded to bring me my food, she had my toast rubbing up against her apron the entire time she was walking in my direction. When I pointed it out, she was upset and had a very nasty attitude because I requested to exchange the toast for new toast. When the new toast came out, she refused to service me, instead she had the cook and another worker (June) to bring me items. Additionally she never came back to ask if I needed anything. I had to call someone over to the table to get assistance. What Kayla failed to realize is that I was able to see her actions the entire time through the reflection of the window. When I asked for the new toast, she immediately started to whisper to her male Co worker! When I asked June for her name, he was sure to let her know and once again she turned around and started whispering in his ear. If you come to this Waffle House at night and is served by Kayla, it may be best to sit in a different area, maybe let June help you. I guess Kayla doesn't like to serve people who doesn't look like her. She was too busy talking to another lady that looked more like her all the while ignoring the table I was at. My wife and I ordered an Allstar Special, a double cheeseburger, and a Bert's chili. My wife had requested raisin toast. When we arrived, I expected the food to be brought out to our car like all the other restaurants right now but we were told to come in. After picking up the order and returning home, we found that the sausage was missing from the Allstar Special, the Bert's chili was not included and the toast was regular, not raisin. Three mistakes in one order! I called and was told to come back and pick up the rest. After a 10 minute drive back to the restaurant, I received the rest of our order. I asked if there would be any compensation for my having to drive all the way back to get my order which should have been correct to begin with, and the answer was "No, we don't do that." By the time I got home with the rest of the order, the original items, of course, were no longer hot. This Waffle House failed miserably on my order. The employees on duty at that time apparently feel that order accuracy is not important even simple ones like ours. I understand that people will make mistakes but surely they can do better than this. Skip Waffle House and get something else. They aren't worth...
