Flobucha: A Kombucha Haven in Sarasota!

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary and visited Flobucha. This kombucha bar is an absolute gem, offering a fantastic selection of raw, unpasteurized kombucha, alcohol-free wine, and lagars. They have online options for ordering as well.

We initially planned a quick stop, but the owner, Florian, welcomed us with with such positivity and offered a tour of his operation. He passionately explained the brewing process and shared his extensive knowledge about the health benefits of kombucha.

Flo offered for us to sample everything and each flavor was unique and refreshing, bursting with flavor. The alcohol-free wine and lagars were equally impressive. We ended up enjoying a flight with three kombuchas, two lagars, and the rose – not a single disappointment in the bunch. Great prices for kombucha as well!

Adding to the wonderful experience, Florian played live music while we sipped our drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for our anniversary celebration. We loved the rose so much that we bought a bottle to enjoy later that evening.

Flobucha exceeded all our expectations. It's by far the best kombucha bar we've experienced, and we can't wait to return. If you're in Sarasota, do yourself a favor and check it out! We were in town for a sound bath, and had time to kill so went walking around. Wandered into Florien's magical little shop/mad science laboratory and he gave all four of us visitors a tasting of every single offering he had on deck that day. I had only stopped out of curiosity, but I ended up purchasing a growler of Blackberry Lemon Fennel (which made us feel AMAZING during the sound bath), and it was very difficult to choose a kombucha...they were each one so delicious and artfully crafted. Since that day this summer, I have seen Flobucha around many times, and have even been able to order it at restaurants (I'm looking at you, Florence and the Spice Boys) as it seems the word is undisputably out: Florien is a master artisan and a delightfully magnanimous personality, the kind of wizard you can only wish more success for. The product is top notch, and the man behind them has contagious enthusiasm for his craft. As a person in recovery, I can say that Flo's Winesque kombucha line is the only wine alternative that actually scratches the itch of wine's feel on the palate, let alone its taste. Everything about "Flobucha" imbues the body and mind with an uplifted effervescence- like the bubbles in my all time...

Flobucha was the BEST experience!! The minute we walked in we were warmly greeted and were given the opportunity to sample all the kombuchas on tap. We had the privilege of meeting Flo himself, the owner and founder of the kompany. He shared his passion and knowledge of how kombucha is made. He even gave us a private tour of the place! We got to see how all the magic happens behind the scenes.

He shared his story with us on why he created Flobucha and explained that he wanted to create a beverage all people could enjoy, especially those who don't drink alcohol and who are looking for a healthy alternative and great atmosphere to enjoy and lounge. There was a stage set up for live music and he also mentioned they have different board games too.
