Pierogi Inn — Local services in Siesta Key

I have been here a few times now. They have a good selection of items, their products are usually fresh, and the prices are reasonable (higher than other Polish delis though). The young blonde woman at the register is always very kind and polite.

The issue: The older angry woman, who I have been told is the owner, is just awful. I've never seen her in a good mood and it seems like she just hates everyone and everything. Most recently, she snapped at the young blonde woman for asking her to help ring me up, since the blonde was helping another customer with the deli meats. She snapped back with, "I just asked you if you needed help and you said, "No!" Um... she probably didn't need your help when I was not at the register... Her attitude is just awful.

I have never seen the owner in a good mood and I'm always wondering what hostility I will witness each...

I don't like this Place .The food is so old and price very high and not fresh I was sick from the food they have baby hot dogs the expiration date was expired and they still selling I like to send the package to Poland and she tell me to leave because it's 10 minutes to 4pm they only open to 4 pm as I still got time she say no I have to leave from the store I was shocked . The owner say go someplace else I don't want to send anything for you there was no reason for her to say like that oh. Nasty not only one time each time I go there . The owner say don't touch any cars I have a spine surgery and I have to take care of my package back to my car. Disappointing Experience – We Won’t Be Returning

My wife visited the store today with our kids, who were excited to pick out Easter bunnies. As children do, they were browsing and trying to decide which one to choose. Instead of receiving a bit of patience or understanding, the owner came out and abruptly yelled at my wife in front of the kids. The situation was so upsetting that our children got scared and wanted to leave immediately.

At the time, my wife had a hamper full of items she intended to purchase, but after being treated so rudely, she left everything behind and walked out. Needless to say, this was our last visit to the store. We believe customers—especially families—deserve to be treated with...
