Gone several times. Lost customer. Went in quietly and right to the toy section. I needed to buy a nice baby shower gift and the kids wanted each a toy. We went straight to that area. My kids knew to be quite as if we were in a library and to not touch things unless I approved. My oldest spotted a musical note toy (sort of like a bell xylophone). There was one that was not in a box as the others. Like most stores.... I assumed that the one out of the box was fine for her to do what she did.... She sat down gently and tried to see if she could play the notes. Gently she played small notes making sure she was not loud. I've always taught my kids to be very respectful. A lady came by and asked if she could help. I politely told her no thank you . I then showed my little one a toy car and how the doors opened and closed to see if maybe she wanted it. A minute later the lady came back and said that the kids can't play with any toys as she needs to sell them all retail value. I was caught off guard. No toys were taken of boxes.We were not ruining anything. I ended up leaving and will not be returning.

I’ve been seeing this cute shop every time we pass by Gulf Gate and today finally I got to see it for myself. They have huge selection of souvenirs, to home decors, baking wares, and FOODS from different Scandinavian countries. The owner was gracious to give us a free taste of Danish Kringle and it was SOOO good we ended up buying the Strawberry Shortcake. Stopped in for the first time as we are about 1.5hrs south in N. Ft. Myers and what a lovely shop! They have Scandinavian candy, cheese, food, cookbooks and all kinds of items, gifts and more. We were trying to decide whether to buy Icelandic chocolate as I've been researching Iceland as I'd love to visit one day and the woman was so helpful and told us it was delicious and it is!
