I will review how clean, service, location, food, premises are during Christmas time. My fam and I stayed here for few days after Christmas only 1 bed rooms available at this time last minute stay really close to siesta key the hotel have a free shuttle $5 person tip recommended/ fee. The shuttle starts at 10 am we didn’t use the shuttled noticed lots of people using it, it was clean but definitely older hotel yes does have a impresión of a 80’s motel the rooms doors face the pool and there is an elevator, small property with fairly nice pool warm and outside sauna, bar with bartender, and little sofa+ fireplace outside. Fairly decent for this property I though the price was not really comparable with what you get. Food: really poor cold breakfast, orange and apple juice, “bagel bar”, yogurt milk and cereal, apples the only complain I have is since the items and breakfast is minimal keep the breakfast really going until 10 am as advertised, our first day here we didn’t know that the staff refuses to refill the milk at 945 “ we went down for breakfast at 840-945” they will not refill we really didn’t have much to choose from nothing was refill and this is very unacceptable for example there was some cereal left but No milk at tha point and coming from a good service background then take the cereal away to give the guest signal that no more cereal avail. But leaving dry breakfast and refusing to bring milk as per requested is plain rude in my opinion. There were other parents upset as the breakfast seems to hear towards children cereal and milk on this are not items I would eat but often kids would, I will ask the manager to make sure you keep. We will not come back here because of this and others the rooms are very small. Service it’s not the best, not the most Cherie people around. There for I gave this hotel a 2 star for service I am being generous to be honest. Location: fair close by siesta beach possible 20 min drive or take the $5 shuttle, there is a place a grill called Gekos right next door where you can walk to eat, also pharmacies and other establishments. I felt safe but, we were always careful locking the car and making sure park where we can see it just in case. Premises : quiet area and nice pool just ok parking lot it’s small it really fills. The Hilton hotel say they would price match that is false advertising.
Beach it’s excelente the sand it’s white and the water it’s clear slight cold during peak days it’s hard to find parking but the beach parking...
Read moreThe first night we got there we were very tired because we were traveling all day and we just wanted to take a shower and go to bed. But the shower did not work. It’s a very unusual handle that works the shower, it was EXTREMELY hard to pull out to get any water at all. I can’t imagine someone with arthritis or someone elderly being able to work that handle. I’m in fairly good shape and I struggled with it.|It was too late for us to go downstairs so we waited until the next morning since we were going downstairs for the free “breakfast”. The breakfast consists of cereal, toast, muffins and bagels…. Oh and very watered down coffee. I went to the front desk and told them my shower was broken and she kept telling me that I wasn’t doing it right and that she will send maintenance up to show me how to use it. I also complained about the coffee (I was not the only one) and I was told that the coffee is pre measured and they can’t change it so I said to try adding less water, she said that was pre measured too….really??? The whole time I was speaking with the manager I felt as though she was trying her hardest NOT to accommodate me.|Maintenance did come while we were out and the reason I know that is because the tub was left dirty. We were able to get water after that but it’s extremely hard.|Also my door was not lined up properly and did not open unless I pushed it with my body and you have to pull it really hard to close it. As a matter of fact, housekeeping didn’t pull it when they left and the door was wide open when we returned. The next day I tried to explain to her that she has to pull the door shut but she did not understand so again I had to go the the front desk to have them tell her because I did not want my door left unlocked again. ||We go to Florida every year and we stay at many hotels, including Hilton and I can honestly say that this was one of the worst I have ever stayed at. I was extremely disappointed because, first of all it doesn’t stand up to the Hilton name, and secondly the pictures are very deceiving. Nowhere in the pictures does it show that the entry doors are on the outside of the hotel. These problems are very fixable if the hotel was better maintained. ||Someone from Hilton did reach out to me, and they did discount the room, but even with the discount it was not worth the money...
Read moreMy son and I were staying in Cocoa Beach and decided to travel West to St Petersburg and then down here to Siesta Key before going back again to Cocoa beach. There weren't too many hotels that were reasonably priced in the area this is about the only one. It is much more generic than other Hiltons I have stayed at. There is no microwave in the room or freezer. To save money my son and I shared a king size bed and that was $160 total for one night. They have a very simple continental breakfast consisting of yogurt, cereal, granola oatmeal packets and bagels. It could use some improvement. If you look up Spark by Hilton, it's basically a cheaper version of the Hilton hotel we are all used to staying at. It focuses on affordability. This hotel was appealing because it has a washer and dryer. I went to go use it and realize they didn't have a coin dispenser so my son went to the front desk and she told us they don't give change and directed us to go to Publix to get change. I thought that was a little ridiculous because if you have a washer and dryer you should at least offer a way for people to get change because most people do not carry quarters with them especially multiple quarters. I looked up laundromats closest to me and found Siesta coin laundry that was .4 miles away. The owner was extremely nice and the laundromat was very clean and well-kept. I recommend going there if you need to do laundry. When I was on my way down to meet my son, I went to the elevator I heard a couple in a room right beside the elevator that was having sex very, very loudly. I didn't know that my son was actually on his way up to the second floor to meet me and when the elevator opened my son was going to get off the elevator and I pushed him back on and I said don't come out here and he asked why and he's too young to even know what sex is and I think that's a little disgusting to have happening at a family friendly hotel. I mean if you know you're going to have sex especially be loud about it ask not to be right by the elevator for common courtesy of other people especially kids. This girl was screaming extremely LOUD. The description on this hotel makes it seem a lot better than what it actually is but it's okay to stay in for a night maybe two. If I come here again I will be flying into the airport here and getting a...
