HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO LOGICAL ORGANIZATION WHEN BUSY! I got to Foxtail waited a few minutes to place my order. Yes, they were busy so I decided to take some videos so I can promote them on social media and in this video you can also see how long the line got after I placed my order. Logically, it would make sense to make your customers order based on time stamps so they don't get upset waiting for so long and see the people after them receive their drinks first. I ordered two simple Coraditos. The staff here did not care about WHEN I placed my order but more about the 20+ people after me who got their drinks first. Rude! They have no system in getting the drinks out. They literally make whatever they want when they want. Literally by the time I got my order the was NO line. How is it probably 20 drinks were given to other customers before mine?? The worst part is I ordered two Corditos. It's much less time consuming and complicated than all the other drinks they handed out. Managers need to train their staff to hand out drinks based on the time it was ordered not based on whatever their staff feels like making next. I have a video of the entire line GONE and only after that did they give me my drinks and BROKEN BAGEL sandwich. Like I said, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO ORGANIZATION! Yes, it's busy but figure out a logical system to not upset your customers by serving the customers that ordered...
Read moreI've been wanting to visit here since they opened. Foxtail is spreading like wild fire and I was excited to see their new store. I like the feel of the place, though the inside may be a bit smaller than I expected, the large windows and huge patio area under a roof certainly made up for it. Dont be fooled however, there's plenty tables inside for individuals and groups a like. I especially like the comfy seating in the corner.
The plaza is quiet enough to study or work, but busy enough to keep you alert. Oh wait, the alert feeling is from the great cold brew! I also liked how clean everything was, it's hard to keep a place pretty spotless with such big windows letting in the sun. Kudos to the cleanliness. Even the bathrooms were spotless. It seemed to have plenty outlets for computers also, which is great if you're stopping by to work a bit.
As I walked in, the barista (I think her name was Sophie??) greeted me with a smile and took my order. She helped the place feel welcoming right when you walk through the door with a greeting. You dont get that at strbcks! The baristas were nice and helped with any questions I had. I only got a matcha that day, however I'm a fan of foxtails coffee. Roasted locally and typically served with good art. Cant wait to go back and...
Read moreThis morning I ordered a cortadito with an extra double shot. I was handed my drink in the little shot glass. I politely asked the female barrista if my drink had the extra double shot and she rudely said yes. I said the math isn't mathing and before I could explain, she cut me off and said "I can remake it and you can stand there and watch me." Instead of meeting her condescending tone with my tone, I said no, I had to leave.
Now a cortadito is " Equal parts espresso and steamed milk with whisked sugar. 4oz shot" an extra shot is 2oz. So 4oz + 2oz = 6oz of liquid. The little shot glass is 4oz. Now I'm just a c student but a 4oz cup will not hold 6oz of liquid. As I said. The math isn't mathing. The fact it was wrong doesn't bother me. The rude nature of this barrista WHILE doubling down that she made it correctly when she didn't, is the problem. The jaded coffee shop attitude was cool in the 90's In Seattle. Not today, in Heathrow. Don't take your bad attitude out on the customer's.
Next time I experience this with her, I will "stand there and watch as she makes it (in)correctly."
We will sit there and learn some science.
For reference it was 9/18/25 @ 730am. The female employee, not the male. He's...
