Gianni's Pizza - Hudson, FL (no other locations) — Restaurant in Florida

Preface: I am very particular about my pizza. This place was recommended to my wife and I by our neighbor. We just bought a house in the neighborhood a few months ago and have been searching for a new pizza joint. The pizza was pretty good. You can tell they use decent ingredients and probably grande cheese which is a huge plus. The pepperoni pie = 4 stars. The garlic cheese bread was very mediocre and nothing to write home about. They just use sub bread which was my biggest complaint next to the fact that they charged us an extra $1 for marinara. Its typically a given that a side of marinara sauce is included with an order of garlic bread. Garlic cheese bread = 3.5 stars. My only other issue with this pizzeria is that they don't have a website or an online menu. It's the 21st century guys, unacceptable. This was even more of an issue when I thought my pie was only $12 from an old picture of the menu I saw. I got to the pizzeria and found out my total for an 18" pie and an order of garlic cheese bread was over $20, the girl at the front stated "oh sorry we raised our prices." Stop there for the first time we enjoyed Italian food as well as seafood and don't get a lot of good Italian food. When we heard this place was Original Italian food and all cooking house we could not wait to try it. because we were a big party they have our table ready for us. as soon as we sat down the waitress was right there and taking care of us. The dishes came out so hot and delicious looking. It was like a picture. The food was absolutely to die for. If you like good Italian food this is the place to go I always ask for if the waitress that waited on us Megan. She was amazing she was right there as we put our glass down that needed refilled. before we could even ask she had what we needed this is truly a pleasure to see a waitress that knows what she's doing. Let me start with the food is always phenomenal. I've never once in twenty years been dissatisfied with the food. The customer service had always been great. The reason I'm doing this review is that today, I walked in with a large party not having thought to call ahead. On top of that, several tables had a "reserved" sign on them. I felt terrible and was more than happy to go elsewhere on account of my poor planning but instead, the staff truly went out of their way to accommodate my family. They then proceeded to apologize for having to put together two tables to accommodate us when clearly, it was unnecessary to apologize for my poor planning.
