For my birthday dinner, my boyfriend suggested we come here because he loves their pizza, and he wanted me to try them out. I’m a sucker for Italian food, so I agreed with him, and he took us here on a quiet Tuesday evening. Upon arrival, customer service was amazing from the start, and we were promptly sat down. Here is what we ordered!
♡ Garlic bread w/ butter. 9/10! Okay, I’m instantly impressed. I love everything about this bread. It’s soft, garlicky, and the butter dollop that came with it blew my mind. I think they sprinkled magic in the butter because it tasted divine. The butter itself had the perfect consistency; it was soft, creamy, and spreadable. TBH, I regret not eating all of the butter.
♡ Blackened Bowtie Alfredo. 8.5/10! Alfredo fettuccine is my FAVORITE dish, so when I saw that this was on their summer seasonal special, I knew I had to order this, and I don’t regret it one bit. The waitress mentioned that there was going to be a little kick to it because it’s made with peppers, and I think the spice was honestly perfect. The pasta was so delicious and flavorful, and I have to say that this was my favorite part of the meal. The pasta dish also did come with a side of salad, and my boyfriend gobbled it up.
♡ Giovanni’s Primo. 8/10! My boyfriend loves a good supreme pizza, so he ordered this one because it stood out to him the most. I tried a slice, and my first reaction was wow, it tasted very fresh and pizza-ey. Here are my boyfriend’s thoughts: This is the second time i've had their pizza. The first time, I was blown away. The crust was soft and buttery yet strong enough to hold all of the toppings, which there was plenty of. The ingredients were fresh and overall the pizza tasted delicious. This time though, I felt the pizza crust wasn't as soft. Still tasted great though.
♡ Tiramisu. 8.5/10! We came on a Tuesday, so the 30 cent Tiramisu deal is pretty neat! I didn’t eat too much of it because I was already stuffed, but my boyfriend gobbled that up too, so here are his thoughts: Their creme on the tiramisu was light and sweet. Overall, the dessert was soft and moist. Just the right amount of coffee flavor and sweetness to make it delicious and not get bored of eating it.
。 ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ 。 FINAL VERDICT: The food is expensive, but the quality is high, and I can definitely taste that it’s fresh. Customer service was also very wonderful. I would definitely come back here again when I’m...
Read moreI have a theory that restaurants are sabotaging 3rd party delivery orders despite the risk to their brand.
Tonight was yet another great example. I have not been into this location or tried anything i did at any other. However, i can not believe my order tonight could be so bad compared to the food i loved in the Rio Pinar area.
My pizza toppings were wrong ordered half pep half pep and sausage received half and half pep and suasage. For price of cheap pepperoni and distribution on just 1 half i felt a little ripped off and left on on experiencing the two cooked together.
For the upcharge to go false "sicilian," the crust was dry and flavorless, where is the butter and seasoning? The crust was cooked through but looked only par cooked.
The sausage(which is sweet, by the way. What happened to spicy sausage on pizza and options between the two? Regardless, this was a win for them as i dont tend to like sweet sausage, that it was great!)
Every othrr topping from cheese to pep to sauce felt like they sourced the cheapest supplier they could find. Very disappointed and surprised considering what i just said about the sausage.....
99.9% sure the garlic knotts are a package of bread picked up from publix smotered in oil garlic and parm. Definitely not baked(heated even?)at all in house id bet my house on it. Sad sad sad for an italian restaurant.
Also, got the meatball side? Appetizer? 2 large meat balls in a bath of sauce... best of show despite my not generally being a fan of meatloafs or extra large meat balls in a bland red sauce. Together they werent fantastic but rather enjoyable. Plenty juicy and the sauce i previously called bland worked with it. I would have liked some more grease for flavor but this probably appeals a larger audiance and is good for that. So i will...
Read moreFrom the moment we walked in, this place felt like a gem. We were seated immediately, and our server AJ greeted us with bread appetizers—complimentary and delicious. Before we even finished the first batch, he brought another one out. Drinks were refilled before they even ran low. AJ was genuinely attentive and kind the entire time, making sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask.
While waiting for our food, we got to draw on the kids menu with my son, which was a fun touch. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic, with good music playing and even some of the staff singing and dancing along—super cheerful, energetic vibes all around.
We ordered a large pizza—half cheese, half Hawaiian—and a Primo Calizon to take home for my wife, who wasn’t feeling well. The pizza came out perfectly warm (not scalding), the cheese was wonderfully stretchy and flavorful, and everything was plated on a clean table. AJ even gave us extra breadsticks to take home, and when he heard my girlfriend was sick, he thoughtfully packed a whole order of bread for her too. They even kept our takeout warm under a hot light until we were ready to leave. That’s a small detail, but it meant a lot.
The whole place was spotless, the staff clearly cared about their jobs, and AJ—seriously—went above and beyond. From food to service, this experience was top-tier.
💰 Total bill: $47.90 Tip: $20.00 🚗 Parking: Easy and not crowded 🎶 Music: Great overhead playlist 🌟 MVP: AJ—ask for him if you can!
