Homestead Bar — Restaurant in Florida

If there were a minus rating, this bar would get it. We encountered an extremely rude bartender named Veronica. I called and talked to the owner about it and she blew it off as if it were no big deal. We won't be going back for that reason mainly. In addition, they don't serve food. They don't accept credit cards. They only serve beer, no wine. It seems as though they use this bar as their personal bar playground. We couldn't play pool because they had a painting party in that area one day. Certain customers come and go freely by walking behind the bar and through the kitchen. We saw many customers go behind the bar into the kitchen and come back out. That seemed odd and led us to believe something wasn't right with that. Sadly, the owners of this place have no idea how to run a decent and successful bar. It's a historical pub in Lehigh and they are disrespecting that...

Well when I went there the very first time I felt welcomed and I went in the evening I felt very much welcomed and the bartender Liz welcomed and at that moment I felt Like I was just welcomed into a family and everything I'm there I'm treated like I've been going there for a long time NO offense to any of the bartenders they made me feel welcomed, when I went there the bartender My favorite really made me feel very welcome she let's me know what's happening on the days she's there she even got me into playing pool again and that is a passion of mine she always has a beautiful welcoming Smile and is very awesome and Billy the owner is very awesome himself I always feel very welcomed in a family atmosphere 😊 I love to dance and sing and play pool and they don't mind my silliness lol so thank you all so much...

Worst experience ever. Pulled up to the place getting of the car and get greeted by what seemed like a drunk person telling us we can't get a drink because it's 145 in the morning (unless we down it) which I understand but goes on to tell me how some agency is on her about alcohol (again understandable) being its 145 in the morning... doesn't even give me a minute to say if I was there for beer or food. I will never again go there. Been in lehigh for over 10+ yrs never been there and decided to venture off ... never again. Thanks. I have standards, your bar ... not...
