I made an order online on 6/21/21 at 5:250pm. with a order number #00195 for delivery at my home. It said delivery was going to take 45 mins which it was fine for me. This is my first time ordering from Hungry Howie’s and it was such a disappointment. Order was made to the Sun City Center, FL location. I spoke with a gentlemen’s first he was kind and understood my issue, which was that my order tracker said “completed” but it was never delivered to me. He said he would be assisting me and put me on hold. Someone named Alana said “so you’re saying you didn’t get your food? I just spoke with my delivery driver and he said he left it at the front door” and yes I did get upset because she sounded like if I was lying about me not getting my food. I worked a 10 hour shift didn’t get time to make dinner to my 6 and 4 year old babies and decided to order from you guys. I have a full time job I don’t have time to makeup lies about me not getting my food deliver and actually getting it to get a refund. I don’t have any need of that because I work and can pay for my food. Unfortunately I do know there’s bad people that do things like this but not everyone does things like this. She then proceeded telling me that I would have to wait another 45 mins for my food to be deliver. She said “it is not our fault you put on the notes to leave it in the door step” I didn’t put that on the notes it was an option that was given to me at checkout and I checked it. She the proceed telling me “next time I’m going to need you to come outside and get it from the delivery driver because we cannot afford making your food all over again because someone grabbed it from your doorstep.m”, Alana said (hungry howies worker) making speculations and assuming me getting my food and lying about not getting it to get a refund, like I mentioned before, I don’t have a need of that. I have cameras all over my house and in my front door I can send clips that the delivery driver never showed up to my door step and left it there. I even offered Alana those clips, she said no. She then continues to assumed and asked me to repeat my address, which I did and she said “ok it has to be in your door step because my delivery driver said he left it there” the amount of disrespect in that conversation coming from your worker was incredibly unbelievable. The purpose of this complaint it’s not harm anyone, but just to let you guys know that not everyone is meant to work as a customer service representative or in the food industry. It was ridiculously unprofessional from Alana to do this to someone she has no clue who it is. Alana never apologized to me because she believed the delivery driver....
Read moreI just wanted to say that the manager at the Sun City location rino went above and beyond to make sure that after they had a small mix-up on one of his nights off where my order was incorrectly prepared he made sure that my next visit was perfect spot on he also assured me that if in the event there was ever any other issues that came up to come straight to him and he will make sure they are addressed efficiently and as quickly as possible as far as I'm concerned pizza places are just a fast food quick meal but this manager made me feel like I was being treated like a member of the family I will absolutely be coming back with friends and family on a regular basis to get my pizza's Subs salads and wings from this Sun City Hungry Howie's and nowhere else from now on he has absolutely locked himself in a permanent customer he is a one-of-a-kind associate and a very valued member to your corporation I hope that you the higher-ups see this and give him the well-deserved acknowledgement that he absolutely has...
Read moreI'm a DoorDash driver. I originally sat at the drive through window for 5 minutes before someone even acknowledged me (you have to go through the drive through after 9pm). After that, they informed me that they didn't receive the order because their DoorDash machine was messed up. I have absolutely no problem with that. The problem I have is that they had me wait in their drive through waiting spot after telling me that the order would be ready in 10 minutes. I waited 25 minutes with no order coming out. I called them to ask them about how much longer it would take, and they said about 5 more minutes. The person that answered me wasn't even sure how much longer it would be, based on the way he answered the question. After I waited another 10 minutes, the order finally came out, and I got a "here you go" from the employee, not even an "I'm sorry for the wait" or anything like that.
