I love Ice Cream — Restaurant in Florida

My wife and I stopped in for a sushi lunch after reading very favorable reviews of this small ice cream and sushi spot. We were treated kindly by the Asian proprietor at the front and we looked forward to the five sushi rolls we ordered. While we waited, an official restaurant food inspector showed up to do his job. This event certainly caused a delay in the kitchen. Our sushi rolls came out in about 35-40 minutes. There was only one other customer waiting. Our sushi finally came out and we took it home to eat. I had told the proprietor that I am allergic to cucumber. Only one roll I ordered normally includes cucumber. She assured me that my roll would be made without cucumber. Alas, this was not the case…it had lots of cucumber in it. There was also a critical problem with all five of our rolls. After cooking the rice for sushi, it is always mixed with seasoned sushi vinegar for flavor and rice consistency. This sushi rice had received no seasoned vinegar, thus losing the flavor one would expect from good sushi. It was extraordinarily bland. The sushi was simply not good. The fish in it seemed fine, but the sushi was not. I really hate to leave such a negative review of a small earnest restaurant. I wanted to love it. I hope this was a one-off lapse in the work of a good restaurant, caused by the unexpected appearance of a food inspector. But I am motivated to write this so the management can prevent these lapses...

This lovely hidden gem has some really good food! It is called "I love Ice Cream" but offers much more! They have rolled ice cream, boba tea, sushi rolls, appetizers, and create your own poke bowls! The QR code in the restaurant provides the full menu. I got the classic milk tea and chocolate rolled ice cream with whipped cream and chocolate chips. There are multiple flavors to choose from and you can choose up to 3 toppings included. The tea tasted great and the ice cream was great texture. The poke bowl was also one of the best I've had. You can choose a base, 1-2 proteins (effects cost), up to 7 toppings, and 2 sauces. My bowl was a white rice base with tuna, mango, edamame, corn, red onion, jalapenos, fried garlic, scallions, sweet chili sauce, and eel sauce. The portion sizes are excellent. It is all made there fresh for you and is worth the wait. I would come again and recommend this...

We went for rolled ice cream and boy was it worth it!! The owner is THEE SWEETEST lady! The menu is clear and easy to understand and order. But let me tell you about this pineapple ice cream 🫠 When I say perfection, smh! Baby the pineapple rolled ice cream is it! Now I'm not saying the other ice creams aren't also delightful. I'm just saying I had pineapple and it didn't stand a chance 😆. Speaking of other flavors, my Little Humans had the key lime pie rolled ice cream and the cookie monster rolled ice cream. Theirs didn't stand a chance either 😆😆 We all topped our ice cream to our liking. Mangoes for me, and kid stuff for them. And the way the owner giggled as she was serving a treat sure to delight it was the perfect topper.

Apparently I never took a picture of the pineapple ice cream, smh. But it looked as good as...
