The facade of the restraunt is beautiful, decor is nice but this is as far as it goes. It is understood that the restaurant is quite new, and there are some kinks to work out. I don't believe that factors in to this equation. Upon walking into the store I noted that the place was packed and was willing to wait and so I did. After about 25 minutes we were sat, a short while later our server arrived at the table. I ordered a kids pancake for my 1 year old nephew as well as drinks. The drinks came as expected but the pancake took way longer than expected, especially for a child's food order. The simple pancake was quite dry and it seems as if the griddle used to make it on needed a scraping. But the baby enjoyed it anyway. Our order was taken then, but rather than sending the order to the kitchen, our server took another table's order. As this was going on the section started to fill up. Now where there was only two seated tables, there were 8 with three servers in the section. about 15 minutes later food began to arrive to tables, we watched as other people around us started to receieve their orders. It was not until the last table to be sat receieved their food, did we ask whow much longer for our order to arrive. Five minutes later, about 30 minutes after the order was taken, our orders arrived to the table. My sister ordered a hamburger with fries. The fries, by the time they arrived to the table were cold, lettuce on the burger wilted, cheese had been congealed to the burger patty. I order two pancakes with bacon, scrambled eggs, and hashbrowns. The eggs were fine, however, the pancakes were crisp on the top as if they were sitting on under heat lamps for some time. I placed the butter under the first pancake to melt, to no avail. Afterwards the final dish in our order was brought out, chicken tenders. The only thing that was hot and fresh. The hamburger and fries that was ordered had to be remade, then packaged to go. When it came time to pay, I was told that I had to pay our server, which I am not accustomed to. I typically pay via Samsung Pay, and was told that they were not set up to accept it. Come to find out a short while later, they were, just unwilling to even try. I spoke to the manager after signing the bill, he did give us a card for a free meal. I aprreciate the effort, but there is much work to be done with the service at this store. I will stop again to see if service improved...
Read moreThis was my second (and possibly my final) visit to this IHOP. The first visit was when this IHOP first opened and was good. This visit, however, was a great disappointment. The kitchen was not very good. We were a party of five, and each of the five of us had at least one item that was not cooked properly, or missing altogether. The eggs were not properly cooked, and the whites were, in some instances, raw and runny and undercooked. If the kitchen in a breakfast restaurant can't cook eggs, the establishment has not earned the right to offer breakfast to the community. The toddler saw bananas on the menu and was looking forward to having banana as part of the fruit option until the server told us they had no bananas. Try explaining that to YOUR toddler lol! Any competent manager would go (or send someone) across the parking lot to get bananas, if they ran out of such a common and easily available item, rather than have an entire restaurant full of (potential return customers) know they can not in the future rely on management to have the restaurant properly stocked with basic food items. The server did not bring items to the table, and at least 3 times during the meal someone had to get up from the table letting their warm (not hot) food get colder and physically walk over to the server station to get something. First, cream for the coffee even after asking the server for cream with the coffee. Second for butter to go with the toasted English Muffin (after retrieving the butter the muffin was no longer warm). What a waste coming to this IHOP! Third, for the jellies. Most IHOPS in other locales have these on the table without asking. The greeter was very good (above average and an asset to the restaurant), but unfortunately the rest of the experience was not at all...
Read moreI ordered for my family online, and needed to call in because there’s no space for special instructions when ordering online. When I called in they said they still hadn’t received my order, and placed me on hold awaiting my order to come through. About 5min later someone else came to the phone, and told me they received my order and was ready to take my instructions. While taking my instructions, he notified me that they had ran out of sausage links (my order had some included), and asked if patties would be ok, which I said yes. First issue when my wife arrived to pickup the order… My wife parked in the posted curbside pickup location, called in, and was told they don’t offer curbside pickup. Why they still have the sign up is beyond me, and normally wouldn’t be an issue but wife had one of our young children with her which is is a pain to take out of car seat for the pickup. She made it work… She returned home with the order, I proceeded to go through it, and plate it up. To my dismay, not only was there no sausage links (already told about), but no meat at all!!! We ordered the “thick and fluffy French toast family feast”, that is not only supposed to have sausage, but also bacon. Final straw… I called the store immediately to let them know, and at first was told that it was put in the bag. Then was told, they ran out of all meat, and that’s why there wasn’t any with my order. Which I never received a call to let me know, wife wasn’t told when the order was picked up. Was told the manager would call me when they returned (from buying sausage is what I was told), to see how we can resolve the issue. This was around 10:45am yesterday morning, and still haven’t received a call. I spent over $90, and even gave a tip, and feel like this is...
