Jason’s deli has Always held a special place in my and my family’s heart and I’ve been going since I was a child and it’s always been great and I’ve never had an issue but recently one of the employees a lady named sally ,The manager I believe has scowled me whenever I’ve walked and given me a very unpleasant and not very welcoming side eye for some reason and I asked my wife and she said maybe she just doesn’t like me but tonight while picking up a to go order like I do at least 3 times a week but for some reason the card reader jammed and I hate to wait which wasn’t an issue but for some reason the total on the bag was different from the amount they told me on the phone so I asked and they said they forgot to fix it but the order was right so I checked the order and it was short so I asked what happened.(they told me 11.99 over phone got there and it said 13.99 and then I paid with my card and it charged me 16.99) they claimed they forgot to add the extra chicken and then went and got the extra chicken for me and as the cashier was handing me the forgotten chicken the manager sally who was never a part of the interaction besides the evil glares from her side eye came over and said “just for your information that’s more chicken and not a full order “ like she was doing me a favor and I should have been glad to wait and told 3 different and be chastised in a line full of customers . I’ve never been so humiliated at an establishment or in my life in general. I don’t care how long you work somewhere you don’t have the right to treat people whatever way you like and just because you are the manager of those high school employees you boss around doesn’t mean you can disrespect your customers . I’ll be calling corporate and whoever else will listen .( the cashier was as nice as could be and was just as...
Read moreUnfortunately this location has a staff member telling customers that the salad bar is single trip. Let me be clear, I travel throughout the United States for work, and visit Jason’s deli all over the country. Frequently. You are the first location and she is the ONLY employee to say this and she repeatedly tells customers this incorrect info. She tries to justify this with “it’s been this way for 2 years” which it hasn’t, nor is it advertised as a single visit salad bar. She further attempts to justify this lie with “it’s the pandemic” well we’re not longer in a pandemic. furthermore there are gloves and a duplicate trip to a salad bar isn’t making it any worse. The first trip was enough to contaminate, if that were a valid excuse to begin with. And if, IF, this were the reason and true, the solution is a new plate which you just have to ask for and has always been the case at Jason’s anyway. Dealing with an argumentative cashier who argues an erroneous fact makes for a bad experience. Again, NO OTHER EMPLOYEE at this location, and NO OTHER LOCATION states such a thing about the salad bar.
You just have to ask for a new plate.
If this location has instilled this policy, it’s the only one. In fact the other location in ft myers has no problem with multiple visits. Same town! Goes to show it’s just an inaccurate statement being told to customers. Which makes it clear, it’s not about health, it’s about cost. Time to stop using pandemic as an excuse...
Read moreI went to Jason's because I live in the apartment complex right behind it. My wife had warned me already that she thought it was pretty blase blah. Everybody was very polite the business is very clean there is a reasonable amount of options. I didn't take forever to get my food. I got some random suit I think it was like tortilla or something and it wasn't very good. I would love it if there was a clam chowder but they didn't have any. You think with all the New englanders down here they would provide that option. Pricing is just higher than I would expect to pay for what I got. The salad bar is pretty cool. But my Italian sandwiches was just blah wasn't very exciting certainly wasn't original or elevated in any way. I know everybody has preferences but I would rather spend the same money at Arby's or Jimmy John's and be more full and satisfied. I actually find Arby's Italian sandwich preferable. Given the fact this is more expensive and comes across as better than fast food you and comes across as better than fast food I have higher expectations. The one trip that I went to failed to meet my expectations and I probably won't eat here again unless it's a necessity. I'm sorry for the negative review because everybody I encountered there was very nice and did their best to please everybody. The cost vs. satisfaction coefficient just didn't...
