I went through the drive-thru at 2pm today to get my single serving of gelato. But before I could do this, the attendant, who opened the window, said I had to park my car and place my order at the walk-up.
All I could think of was...yeah, but you opened the window...I'm talking to you now...take my order...give me gelato.
Meanwhile, 2 cars after me got served thru the drive-thru and then went on their way as I watched them from the line I was NOW IN at the walk-up window.
Shake my head.
During this pandemic when people have been abstaining from going out, one would think employees would not dismiss ANYONE who drives up to their establishment. Jeremiah's is a free-standing building. So that means people intentionally make the trip to go there.
I went there to redeem a reward I earned. Otherwise, I would've just driven home.
To the the attendant at the front window, thank you for the explanation and the "sorry". I genuinely appreciate that. Supposedly the drive-thru Ipad wasn't working properly. Question is, since when did technology prevent people from getting gelato? It's not like I was getting the gelato from a vending machine.
I know you...
Read moreHad a bad experience here tonight. Went to place an order for my daughter and her two friends, was in line looking directly at the building wedged behind a car about two feet from the flavors sign. the african american girl who was taking orders on the tablet went to the car coming from the other side (who came nearly 5 minutes AFTER me) and took their order, then proceeded to take the car behind thems order. after about 7 minutes of waiting for her to take the cars orders who came after me, she tells me *with an attitude that i need to go all the way around to place my order and i said okay then i will leave because i was here before those two cars and she said okay before i drove away. i was neglected then given attitude for not being facing a different direction in line. maybe jeramiahs should place a railing since they like to ignore their paying customers who are too far of a walk away to come take...
Read moreThe cashiers are absolutely horrible, I went to get an Italian ice today and waited in 1 of 2 long lines. The cashier attending the line next to mine simply closed the window without saying a word and the line I was in got longer. Some minutes later the line next to me reopened and people went back there I finally got to the window and the cashier in my line simply closed the window didn't say they were shutting down the line or anything. There was another person behind me and he asked did she close without saying anything? I told him I wasn't sure and after 10 minutes of waiting I gave up after seeing the cashier that was attending my line leaving for the day. Terrible customer service, if possible go somewhere else this place doesn't appreciate customers. I only gave it a 3 because the product is good but not worth the bad customer service...
