My husband and I came in to pick up my to go order. The lady working the front was very lethargic and not friendly at all. I felt it was a bother for me to be there. The cook called my order and she continued filling onions never changing gloves as she rung me up boxed my salad and husbands sandwich. I literally had to lean over the counter to grab my order. This is very disappointing. I got home and to my surprise she dumped like half a jar of the relish I asked for so my salad was ruined And all I can literally taste is pepper sauce. My husband got one green pepper out of his whole sandwich no jalapeños whatsoever out of a big kahunah. Never have I had an experience like this from here. My favorite sandwich shop is Jersey Mike’s and has been for over a decade. Recently, I haven’t visited as often due to my pregnancy. However, every time my craving of the perfect Italian sub gets the best of me, I visit. With my most recent visit, I was told that they could not heat the meat for me. I explained I am 34 weeks pregnant and it is unsafe for pregnant women to eat unheated deli meat. But the the worker insisted that he wasn’t allowed. This has never been a problem before. We eat at Jersey Mike's at least once a week, and we always prefer this location because the bread is always softer. Today, when we came in, we were greeted by Natalie and Abby. Natalie was sweeping the floor, and you can tell that they had been cleaning between customers because the place was really clean. The vegetables area was spotless. I was really impressed with this particular visit, I just had to leave a review. Those ladies were so nice and very attentive and respectful. It was such a pleasant visit.
