Today, I dropped by...only buying one sandwich for my family member at home. I dropped in (6miles out of the way) on a special request...of the person I was buying for. I have been to this store several times... usually great service, well put together sub. Today...something just was out of place... I ORDERED THE ORIGINAL ITALIAN -Reg size. I wanted all the deli, red pepper relish. Onions pickles mayo and banana peppers. I watched the young man pull out the Giant bread and cut it close to in half. He gave the 1"or so shorter piece to the sandwich lady.. Put the meats for an original on the 2nd half. No one else was in line....WTH? They proceeded to dress the other sandwich, wrap it, bag it and put the bigger one aside for (WHO KNOWS WHO)?.... While I stood there they made essentially the same sandwich.... and made me stand and wait... they used the larger bread.... I WISH I KNEW WHO WAS SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN ME...THE CUSTOMER STANDING IN FRONT OF THEM? OH, dont worry, THEY TOOK MY MONEY before they decided I wasnt worthy of decent treatment. I understand Im Elderly, that doesnt mean that treatment was right.... i mean...My server gave someone else (not in the building) more Food than I...after they took my $$$, for the same size/type sandwich. Simply seems RUDE... and well off-putting. BTW; My wife works in the walgreens right on the outlot for your plaza... They used to visit regularly, until the crew started doing this kind of thing.... Read moreI tried to order from this location last week. I called to place an order and the gentleman on the line immediately said can you hold. So I said yes and he put the phone down. I was willing to give him 3 minutes to come back to the phone and take my order, so I waited and I was already in my car driving to their location. He didn't come back within that 3 minutes, so I decided to order a sandwich from their competitor. This location does not allow online ordering, so I decided to online order from Firehouse Subs. I continue to wait on the line Because I was upset and wanted to let them know they had lost a customer. So I picked up my sub from the other company, went home ate it took a shower did my nightly routine and was still waiting on the line when I went to bed. I could hear their staff closing up for the night and Closing down the cash register. But I continued to stay on the line. I fell asleep, and the next morning I realized that the phone had hung up. I had been waiting for someone to answer me for 5 hours and 2 minutes. I am assuming that they have a cordless phone and it just ran out of battery and that's the only reason why it hung up. Read moreFirst, I really like Jersey Mike’s subs, but I am extremely disappointed with the Jersey Mike’s at the Shops at Plantation Drive location. My wife was in line to place her order and I joined her. As we began to order, the person behind me attempted to place his order before I ordered. I let him know we were next to order and began placing my order. The person continued making snide comments directed toward us as I was trying to order. No one at Jersey Mike’s addressed his rude behavior. To diffuse the conflict, I turned around and asked the person to order ahead of us, but he refused. Then I was direct and told him to stop making rude comments. At that point, the employee taking my order confronted me rudely, when I attempted to explain, he rudely and aggressively interrupted me. We decided to leave immediately to avoid any further conflict and left without speaking again. However, the Jersey Mike’s employee continued to berate us as we were leaving. His parting words that he hollered across the store at us were “my name is Zachery and I’m the manager here.” We will not return to this location.
