Jersey Mike's is a causal submarine sandwich chain. Founder of the company, Peter Cranco purchased his first sandwich shop in 1975 at the age of 17 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. In 1987 he began franchising his sandwich shops. By 2015 the number of Jersey Mike's shops exceeded 1,000 and Cranco is still the owner and CEO of the company.
I really love a cold sub for dinner when the summer heat makes me too lethargic to cook. Picking up a quick dinner sure beats turning on the oven. I was passing through West Palm Beach and late to get home when I discovered this Jersey Mike's location in the Palm Beach Marketplace right off I-95. As I am a Jersey girl I appreciate the New Jersey/ Point Pleasant graphics on the wall. You can order hot subs like a Philadelphia cheese steak, cold subs, sides, drinks, and desserts.
I ordered the giant Super Sub with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, and cappacuolo. I really like that they slice the meat fresh for your sandwich. It's then topped and dressed the way you like it. The friendly staff who works here really hustled. I was in and out and back on my way quickly. They have a rewards club that you can join and earn points to redeem for free food. When I need a fast meal I always find that their subs...
Read moreHave to give credit where credit is due! My family stopped in Jersey Mikes on our way out of town last week, we were kind of depressed considering it was time to head back north to NJ. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by what I think was the manager (Eric), immediately we felt a sincere sense of hospitality his personality was infectious, and he had a special kind of charisma! The kind of charisma that I would want greeting customers at my own business! I felt like we were walking into a place that people enjoy working in and also patronizing not only for the great food, but the way their attitudes reflected in their happiness to be at work! The subs were fantastic but the atmosphere was even better, so much so that my son (who eats J.Mikes on a daily basis in Point Pleasant NJ) said: Dad, I wish this guy worked at my Jersey Mikes, (and thats no insult to J. Mikes in Point, because he loves that one too)! All in all great food, cool place, & I will go back here in hopes that Eric the hype man will be there behind the counter! I just cant imagine him being there long because if I were Jersey Mikes Id be making this guy corporate! Good stuff and a class act all the way (5 stars all day...
Read moreI am actually a Jersey Girl myself and had the hardest time finding good cheesesteaks! I know everyone raves about Philly cheesesteaks but we have super great ones near my hometown in NJ. And after living in south FL for about 12 years I had all but given up on finding decent ones. Until I found Jersey Mike’s. And when I did, OMG! I couldn’t believe how close they were to my hometown favorites. They are so flavorful and hit all the right taste buds in your mouth! And the size you get for the price is well worth every bite. My family doesn’t eat cheesesteaks from any other places bc we are over being disappointed. We know quality when we taste it and Jersey Mike’s is top notch! So for the last 16 years we have only gone to Jersey Mike’s! You will not be...
