I really hate writing this because this is our favorite sub place but I would like a manager to know how I was treated tonight. Today is Father’s Day and my boyfriend really wanted a sub for dinner. He had to work till 10pm and I wanted to sub to be fresh for him so I went in at 8:40 to order subs for us. The guy at the front said “hey, how you doing” I said good how are you? He said “ready to go home” I said ok I just need a couple subs. I got to order the first one (Italian sub) and he says “oh great, well we just cleaned the slicer but I guess I’ll just unclean it for you” and starts pacing around angrily. I explained my boyfriend didn’t get off till 10 and I knew they closed at 9 but it was only 8:40 and he said “well yeah we don’t usually expect anyone at 8:45”. At this point I felt really uncomfortable and called my boyfriend and he told me it’s ok to just leave. I’m pregnant and emotional but I went home crying because he was so rude and I couldn’t get the one thing my boyfriend wanted for dinner on Father’s Day. I usually love this place and we come here all the time as it’s right next to our house. After this, I think we’ll go elsewhere 😓
If you stop serving at 8:45, put that as your closing time. I’ve been in the business for years and this isn’t how you treat people that come in before you close. You serve...
Read moreI certainly hope they work out the issues here. I went to the location at 11:35 and there were about 20 people in line. I had a book with me, so I ordered a regular sub online; supposed to be ready at 11:55. I entered, holding the door for another gentleman who went and stood in the line, and I went to pick up my order, which wasn't ready. I waited until 12:07 for my pre-ordered and pre-paid sub, and I exited the store at the same time as the gentleman who walked in with me and who stood in line.
The person on the deli slicer for takeout orders was extremely slow, and nobody was saying anything. The person on the other deli slicer worked like a ninja warrior, so the juxtaposition was interesting. Maybe somebody could manage that process...
My sub was rolled in wax paper and when I unrolled it half the sub was inside the paper and the other half was rolled up into another fold of wax paper, so that essentially I had two halves of a sub individually wrapped. I got to handle all the oily lettuce and tomatoes and peppers as I reassembled my sub.
This site just opened a week ago. Who knows. They had 12 workers behind the counter and everybody was waiting. That, to me, is a management issue.
Love Jersey Mike's subs - glad their in E Naples. Maybe I'll be back at a later time to see if they've ironed out...
Read moreWell first Id like to start of by saying my sister law and I went in for the very first time with an open mind after reading the few negative reviews. They were pretty 50/50 with everything. My first issue was the lady at the counter, I order the sandwich/chips/drink combo and she didn't even ask me if I wanted fountain or bottle. Than when i asked if she could just charge me for the difference she was confused. The 2nd issue was I order the chicken philly and was pretty surprised that they didn't ask if I wanted any other toppings. Its pretty much you get what it says is included. It was pretty bland considering it was just chicken, cheese, onions, and ranch. The bread wasn't even toasted which really gave it a dry texture. I was also shocked due to the price, that they don't even really give you a bag for everything unless you order online for pickup.....I had to figure out how to carry everything out while making sure my kids were following behind me. I don't think I'd be back because if I'm being real Publix has better WHOLE subs for half the price. Honestly, the only thing they really have going for them was the Cream soda fountain drink which is what the 3...
