Changes to delivery means not dependable anymore! Placed an order online at 10:44am for ASAP. An hour later - no delivery, no contact but when I click tracking on my order it says "delivered". I called this store and was told "oh you must be the order that UberEATS dropped". I asked why UberEATS was involved and was told that "when we are busy, we use UberEATS for 3rd party delivery". This was not listed anywhere and "Freaky Fast" needs to be removed from your slogan/advertising. I work for a business that uses this location pretty heavily for delivery because in the past Jimmy Johns has been the only dependable delivery restaurant - UberEATS has NOT ever been dependable for our company. We order a LOT of Jimmy Johns but I am changing my view on that now if UberEATS will be delivering. I was assured someone would bring my order right away. 30 minutes later - still no order. What I find interesting is why am I asked to provide delivery details and my phone number if the person delivering is either not given or doesn't use my delivery details or phone number? I called back again to say I was uphappy that the order stil hadn't arrived. Keep in perspective that we have specific set lunch times and we are not able to walk around our building "looking" for the delivery person nor can we eat when food is delivered long after our lunch time has ended. See my predicament? On my second call I was put on hold and told "they'd look into it". I couldn't stay on hold and had to go because of work. About 15 minutes later someone who works in a different building on our campus came and asked "is this your food ?". They said someone came to their door and then went back to sit in their car - they unlocked the door and waited and eventually the person came and handed them the bag but didn't say who it was for or ask if they were in the right place. Honestly they could have handed the bag to anyone. Again, if I give delivery directions and my phone number, why aren't those used? I also noticed that Jimmy Johns has decreased the number of characters we can even enter into the delivery directions section! Please...
Read moreMy first time dealing with this place was ordering delivery. The food was good BUT, there were a few problems. We had about five different sandwhiches one of which was tuna that they just stuck in the same bag with everything else so everything we ate we had to hold our breath when taking a bite because of the overbearing tuna smell on everything. On top of that we paid with credit card and when the guy came to deliver the food we were asked for payment again and then argued with after we told them we had already paid.
My second deal with this place was in-store and it will be the last time I consider it an option to stop or order from here. I was grabbing lunch with my mother and all I ordered was a $4 Turkey Sandwhich (which is $4 for 2 pieces of white bread and some sliced turkey). I ask for some cheese which is extra for 1 slice, I was okay with that. I also then asked for mayo, and was then told that it would be EXTRA to put MAYO on my SANDWHICH from a SANDWHICH SHOP, but I would not be charged extra if he just gave me some mayo packs and put it on the sandwhich myself. Naturally my reaction was pretty much "Are you serious, is this a joke?" after the man confirmed that he was serious me and my mother cancled our entire order and went to SUBWAY. Where we got a triple stacked footlong sandwhich for a dollar more than what we would have been charged for 2 pieces of white bread, and some sliced turkey....... ...
Read more11.14.24 - it's been a while but was disappointing in the amount of turkey in the turkey tom sandwich. 3 thin little slices barely covers the bread. 2 slices of cheese, 3 tomatoes and 3 thin pickle slices.... Even with them ripping out the bottom of bread this was still mostly bread and not worthy of being called a sandwich. Especially, when you pay almost ten bucks for it. Likely won't be back this time.
Update: So I couldn't stay away and still order two or more times a week.... Everyone there is so great and hard workers. Food is good and the prices still too high but the people, convenience factor and freakishly fast delivery make up for that. Shhh don't let corporate know that... The people here are great and they did show customer appreciate and sent over a nice intimate lunch offering the other day. We all thank you very much!
Old:The staff is usually great and freakishly fast. Used to order 3 -4 times a week but then they got expensive so now I have to go elsewhere. They're just to expensive and inconsistent on the prices, especially for sandwiches. Maybe they also need to train some cashier's on how to ring things up. Two receipts shown with the same order but are a dollar and change different. But to the manager you just lost my business. I can get two delicious taco from Moes for less than half the price at...
