Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Florida

I love Jimmy John's! However, went to this location yesterday. Didn't have a mask so I pulled my shirt over my nose and mouth. They would not take my order. A rude gentleman who wasn't even wearing a mask told me to get real and that I must have an actual mask. I explained that I didn't have one and couldn't go through the drive-thru because I was pulling a boat but my shirt was way more protection than any of the masks they were wearing. He told me how he still wasn't going to serve me until I got a real mask. So...... I have to have an actual mask to order, but can take it off as soon as I get my food and eat it right there, but can't order food To-go using by a shirt as a face...

I decided to try out the new chicken bacon ranch toasted sandwiches for lunch and ordered two combos, one regular and one giant. The total came to over $50. Unfortunately, the delivery took an entire hour, definitely not the "freaky fast" service I was expecting. When I opened the sandwiches, I was disappointed to find barely any meat on them. It was quite a letdown, especially since the menu picture suggested otherwise. After reading more reviews, it's clear this Jimmy John’s location needs some improvements; if I were the owner, I’d be concerned. Cannot speak to the negative reviews, respectfully, but this location’s Management and Staff are doing their imperfect best with what they have.

Like every American business, professionalism, integrity, and customer service obviously always matter. With that said, fiscal years 2020-present have been insane and challenging for everyone.

I have seen this Location take on and deliver in some exceptionally high traffic and staffing challenges. Again, I’m not disregarding the negative reviews, but I choose to overlook this location’s flaws and give them the benefit of the doubt—as many nearby Community’s value...
