Junior and Rosie's Cafe and Grill — Restaurant in Florida

????? At this point, I'm not sure how to rate it. If I had written this a week and a half ago, it would have been 4 or 5 stars. My bride had the Salmon and me the roast beef. Both were very good. More than adequate portions and very tasty. Wait staff were quick to take our orders and the food came out in a very reasonable time. However, I went back solo tonight (Thursday the 4th) and my experience was pretty much the polar opposite. I waited 12 min for a server just to arrive at my table, and another 38 minutes for the salad to arrive. The entree followed about 15 min later. Server said they were trying to get out some takeout orders. I ordered Salmon grilled medium, with two sides which were cole slaw and grilled peppers because their only veggie tonight was carrots which I did not want. When the meal finally arrived, the salmon was WAY past well done. Might as well have eaten my sandal. They brought the carrots anyway and charged extra for them. Peppers were unremarkable and probably would have been better suited for fajitas. Cole slaw and carrots were fine. In all fairness, I was asked if I would like another piece of fish, but I declined because it had taken so long to get the first order. Incidentally, I was not the only one waiting excessive times for their meals. My score tonight would have only been a 1 or 2.

So now I feel like I have a small dilemma. I suppose the appropriate solution is to go one more time to break the tie, one way or the other. I love "mom and pop" restaurants and try my best to patronize them so I'm hoping this was just...

This is the restaurant formally known as A&B. When it was A&B it was Awesome!!! Now.... not so much. Its not all bad. The menu is expanded so there's more choices. They have also been known for the Friday night all you can eat fish fry. They are still doing it. And the good news its basically the same. Its a tad greasier than the last owner, and they used to have the greatest fries.. now.. everyone at the table hated the new ones. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks.... Terrible!!! Overcooked and empty... the cheese leaked out!!! I had the 16 oz ribeye steak. Now... to give you some historical reference... A&B used to serve a NY strip that was to die for.. seriously Awesome... the NY strip is gone. And the ribeye is ok.. not bad, but nothing to right home about. Im sorry to write this because A&B used to be my favorite place.. and the new owners are great folks. They used to run Good Times Diner, back when it was good. Hopefully they will get it straight... I wish them the best. The prices are still awesome and they did some renovation that looks great. And the staff is...

Service from our waitress was terrible. When we sat down she walked past our table 3 times without even saying i will be with you in a min. Or what can i get you to drink. Nothing. The front desk girl came past our table and after it was like 10 mins. I finally said no one came yet. She asked what we wanted to drink and she got got our drinks. Then the waitress came to our table with a chop on her shoulder and took our order. She then never came back or asked hows the food or can i get you anything. When i asked for the check it took a while. But when she gave me the check then she put a smole on because she was getting her tip. Poor service. Not really busy. Not going back. Really disappointed. We went there after friends recommended it. That was at the the new place. The food was nothing to...
