Lafournil Bakery and Café is hands down one of my favorite places. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and kindness, making it more than just a café—it feels like a second home.

The service is absolutely outstanding, and the staff truly make this place special. A standout employee, Kelvin, deserves special recognition. Her incredible patience and attentiveness, especially with the elderly patrons who visit regularly, is heartwarming to witness. She doesn't just serve them; she treats them like family, ensuring their needs are met with care and respect.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or indulging in their delicious pastries. The combination of excellent service and a genuine sense of community makes Lafournil a place I highly recommend.

These people are inefficient and rude. You have to tell them your order one thing at a time. The lady that was getting our order got upset because we ordered something to be cooked last and everything else first, and she actually told us “next time order the cooked item first” with an attitude. How the heck are we supposed to know that. As soon as we say the first item, she walked away to get it without saying anything or letting us finish our order. They have croissants, but I'm not otherwise sure why they call themselves a French bakery. All of the pastries are traditional Cuban pastries except the croissants. No tarte au citron, no eclairs, macarons, opera cake, tarte au pomme, etc etc. It is okay for a Cuban bakery but I wouldn't go here with the expectation of getting a variety of French breads or pastry. You will be disappointed. If you don't mind decent Cuban croquettas, guava pastries, and empanadas you will not be disappointed.
