Leonardo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Florida

I ordered the biggest Godfather they had and it was absolutely amazing. The crust was perfect the sauce was good and the amount of ingredients was perfect. I also had the cheese sticks and they were also really good. They are more like Papa Johns Cheese sticks which is basically a cheese pizza but cut into sticks (but way way better than Papa Johns cheese sticks for sure). I will definitely be ordering those again and can't wait to try the other types of pizzas they have. If you're reading this before Halloween, I hear they have a apple and caramel cheesecake you have to try!!!

I'm a relatively new transplant to Palm Harbor, Pinellas County area. I have tried several of the local pizza places, but this is by far some of the best pizza in town. It's New York Style with the big foldable slices and you can tell the owner, who I hear is usually the one making the pizzas, takes great care to make sure they each come out perfect. I ordered through menufy and since the menufy system lagged a bit in getting the order to them they had just put my pizza in when I had arrived to pick it up and though they messaged me to let me know there would be a slight delay, I am actually glad I got to sit down and wait at the restaurant. The person who messaged me was the owner's mother and she was a pleasure to talk to. Her son is the owner and I got to get to know about him and that he's owned the place for three years. After searching for good pizza since moving here in 2016, it’s been hard. We have went through 50+ places throughout multiple counties to narrow it down to finally finding 3 total decent places (this place being one). The other 2 are over an hour away from us so we are elated that this place is only 20 mins away. It’s hard finding pizza down here that’s even passable because most aren’t even palatable. This place is absolutely incredible. The dough is absolute perfection and I find myself eating every single last bite even though I’m not a crust eater and never have been. The sauce is so delicious and hits the taste buds JUST right. I’m smiling from ear to ear. Each time we have gone, the staff has always been overly kind and hospitable plus the place is squeaky clean, I’m talking you could eat off of the floor. We have been by this place several times and today, we finally decided to stop in and try it. I am happy we did! I love Eggplant Parmesan, and they had it on the menu. When it arrived at the table, it was HUGE! I have had this dish at many many places and this has to be the BEST or tied for first place of all the places I have tried. It was tender, had great flavor and was cooked perfect. It was not greasy like some are that deep fry their eggplant. The owner said they cut and batter their own eggplant and that answers the question as to how big the slices where. I will be back to try other stuff and also do a full video review.
