Little Greek Fresh Grill — Restaurant in Florida

Please do yourself a favor and go to the other location in Riverview off Big Bend Rd. This particular location has started to go down hill and it’s so sad given how close it is to home.

I’ve ordered food here a couple of times and started noticing lately that it’s not the same quality. It’s undercooked and customer service is terrible!

I ordered food for pick up and after running in and paying, I noticed the price was a little high. $26 for a chicken wrap and fries? I was in a rush for work and so I didn’t have time to question it.

After getting back to my office, I realized that the owner who took my order, misunderstood me and gave me more food than what I had ordered. I thought to myself that I could just keep the extra food and eat it for lunch the following day but it turns out the food was not anything I would be interested in eating.

So I called and the owner picked up the phone. I began explaining the situation to him and he cut me off and said that I ordered the extra food and that I need to leave him alone and remember what I had ordered.

He was extremely rude right of the bat and would not let me finish. I was even going to suggest that he comp my next meal given that I go there for lunch quite often instead of giving me a refund . I said we would have a problem if he didn’t try and resolve the issue and he said “Well then we have a problem, bye bye.”

I’m sure my little 1 star review will not steer many people away but at least the owner will read this and hopefully see this as a learning lesson on customer service and how to treat people in general.

I frequent this location often for takeout and the food is always pretty good. Couple of issues I had with my recent experience, I visited on Sunday, for lunch time takeout, placed my order over the phone and I was told 15 minutes. So I showed up promptly in 15 minutes and most of the employees were smoking outside, no customers inside the restaurant so they weren’t busy. I picked up my food which was ready and was home in about 5 minutes. I ordered a hot gyro and a side salad. They combine both the hot & cold items in the same Togo container, which makes the salad warm, the pita was soggy by this point which makes me think that the food was ready in 5 minutes (not 15) and it had been sitting there awhile. So the food wasn’t fresh by the time I had made it home, which is very close by. I asked for an extra side of tzatziki which was very watery and didn’t have a thick consistency like it normally does. I wish I could rate this a 0. I worked at a Greek restaurant for several years. This is a pathetic excuse for Greek food. The avgolemeno was so bland. Even with adding more lemon and salt and pepper it was still bad. The lamb souvlaki was burnt. The grape leaves tasted awful and were wayyy over cooked. The cannolis tasted like cardboard. When I placed the order I was originally put on hold. She set the phone down. I had to listen to her take an order. And then I’m pretty sure she forgot about me. After 5 minutes I hung up. Called back. Went to voice mail. Called back. Went to voicemail again. Called a third time to be put on hold again for another 5 minutes. Finally placed the order. I asked for a cup of soup. Was charged and given a bowl. Asked for 3 cannolis. She tried to give me 2 and charged me for 4. When I told her she charged me for 4 she said she’d refund me but instead of refunding me she just went to making a sandwich. All around. The food was nasty and the service...
