We were first time customers on 7/17/2024 and were met by a friendly young lady that told us we would have to wait 20 minutes or so to get a seat inside. We said we’ll wait. It was 97 degrees outside and were offered a table outside which we politely declined and proceeded to go inside to stand and wait for a table. No real standing room so the table just inside the entry door that was not being utilized my wife sat at the corner and I stood next to her as to not be in the way of the entryway. As tables were cleared we watched “reserved signs” being placed on them and customers that came after us that obviously were friendly with the staff were seated at one of them. The next table that cam available we asked if we could have that one since we had been waiting already and the hostess did have to go in the back and get permission to give us that table once it was cleared. We were seated and napkins were placed on the table. As we sat there a party of three were seated next to us and out server was Johnny on the spot with them. We still had not even gotten an offer of water yet. He took their drink preference and brought them to their table before he asked us what we would like to drink. We just wanted water. He suggested some beverages from the drink menu ETC. we politely declined with the information that we don’t drink alcohol, which he was obviously a little put off by that. I guess he figured his ticket was going to be far less without booze and he lost his zeal for our table. Then our server took their order first and had them served their appetizers before he brought our waters. To no belabor that any further we finally were able to order our meals. By the time we were served our food the table next to us were already finished with their meals and ordering deserts. My wife ordered the “Prime” cheese burger she asked for it to be cooked medium-rare (warm red juicy center). I ordered the Italian Hero and I asked for light on the lettuce and heavy onions. When our meals finally came the burger was well done and the fries were barely warm on either of our plates. I just attempt to patiently wait for our server so I can ask him to take my wife’s burger back for a re-cook. So I sit there and eat my warm fries As I attempt to keep my composure until our server comes out into plain view. The re-cook was a success however, the quality of the beef was far from “Prime”. I’m my opinion. We eat out quite often and the pressed consistency and lack of flavor was a clear indication the ground beef was nowhere close to prime. If it is in fact prime it was of the lowest quality on the market chart. As for the Italian Hero. What a total let down. The amount of cold cuts, cheese, lettuce and onions rolled up and hidden in a Brioche bun was an absolute embarrassment. To gain perspective the diameter of the entire contents was the size of a 50 cent piece lettuce and onion included. The pittance of lettuce was translucent and the equivalent of maybe a two fingered pinch for an 12 inch sandwich even light lettuce is appalling. There were maybe 5 or 6 strings of onion in the little tube of content in this sandwich. That’s not all. Coming from an Italian family I am very familiar with taste and quality of meats such as capocollo and what was in my sandwich was on the verge of going bad. No exaggeration. The whole experience was very poor and the manager was stand-off ish from our table. He did engage the tables that were getting good service and/or he was familiar with. Otherwise he just kept stocking out his Liquor delivery. We will not be back to this restaurant as the quality of the food is not worth the price or the aggravation and the whole vibe there was just off and cheap. I’m in the service industry and will never give a negative review unless it’s warranted. I like to do positive surveys and reviews because not enough consumers give credit where credit is due. This was just a case where I have sat on this for several days and has bothered me to the point where I had to put...
Read moreOK: Let me start by saying this place is exactly what West has needed for a very long time. There are a lot of nice restaurants in Boca Raton; however, we are limited here in West Boca. Lynora’s has helped to fill that void nicely. Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately get an upbeat high energy vibe from the staff and patrons. The restaurant seamlessly transitions from a beautiful outside patio to a to well charted practical dining room. The bar is long and inviting. (If you can get close enough.) The menu is solid. They have some nice Italian classics. Some of the more popular appetizers are the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (Eggplant Parmigiana), Focaccia with a side of prosciutto and/or ricotta. The truffle fries are also a pleasant surprise. All pizzas are homemade brick oven style. I personally enjoy the Adamo (Vegetarian) and the Prosciutto with arugula. Also, all pizzas can be substituted with cauliflower crust if you choose. Pasta is all homemade and they have a nice selection of sauces. Alla Vodka, Alfredo, Bolognese, and Fra Diavolo are some of my favorites. Top entrees are Chicken Parmigiana and Veal Milanese on the bone with baby arugula, shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, tomatoes, and red onion. Prices are very reasonable. I’ve read other reviews and heard people complain about the prices. I eat out a lot and have visited many of our local restaurants. Simply put, quality food is not cheap! Lynoras is not priced like a fast-food restaurant, but it’s also not as pricey as many other comparable eateries. Meat and fish are expensive. Pasta and salads are less expensive. That’s the way it is. This place is priced fairly. If price is a sticking point for you, then I suggest trying their happy hour from 3-7. They have a happy hour menu with reduced prices and all drinks are 50% off. It doesn’t get any better than that. Now what really makes this place enjoyable are the people. Its starts with the hostess stand where you are always greeted with a smile. And usually right behind those smiling faces is the conductor of this orchestra. His name is LAZ. He is the store manager. Here’s a guy whose job is to basically control chaos all night and he executes beautifully. Restaurant customers can be a bit challenging at times; however, he never takes a smile of his face, never loses his patients, and tries to accommodate all the customers and staff simultaneously. Great job Mr. Crespo. The bartenders, GIANNA, LISA, KELLY, and KIANNA are all exceptional. They are all very helpful, very polite, and hard workers always trying to accommodate their patrons. (They too never lose their smiles.) MIKE, the bar manager is the shining star. When he’s not creating specialty drinks and attending to his customer’s you’ll find him walking the outside of the bar picking up dishes, organizing chairs, setting place mats, and making sure everyone has got what they need. This guy run’s that bar meticulously and I commend your commitment to the organization for which you work. I also want to give a shout out to some of the servers like, DENNIS, SCOTT and VINCENT who have given us stella service over the year. Finally: LYNORAS. Thank you for being our neighborhood bar and providing my family and friends with great memories that will always...

My girlfriends and I have visited Lynora’s in Boca Raton many times in the past and been satisfied however we were beyond disappointed during our most recent visit. We had a reservation for 4:30 for happy hour drinks and food. We were enjoying our time together and drinking our wine when the waiter came to the table and gave us our bill at 6:26. We had not yet been asked if we were finished or if we would like anything else to eat, or even dessert. We asked for a cup of coffee and were told no and that if we wanted coffee we could take it to drink outside. We asked how this came about and the waiter told us that they had a 45 minute wait and he was told to turn the table because there is a two hour max. We pointed out that we were still drinking our wine and hadn’t even been asked if we were done yet and he stated that he wasn’t sure how to handle this situation because he hadn’t dealt with it before. The waiter was kind and ended up bringing the cup of coffee to the table at no cost however the whole situation was quite upsetting. We then spoke with the manager who had already been to our table a few times to clear the plates. We expressed our disappointment with how this situation was handled and he proceeded to make excuses about other people waiting for tables and act as though it was the waiter’s fault for rushing us along which was even more upsetting. We continued to express our discontent as we have frequented this restaurant many times in the past and are now no longer interested in returning. The manager offered us a dessert and we declined because clearly he was missing our point. The manager seemed annoyed and questioned if we would allow one incident to stop us from returning and when we said yes he walked away. While the manager may think that offering us a dessert was oh so gracious, his attitude was completely unprofessional and off-putting. There were several available tables inside at this time and plenty of empty tables outside. It was a chilly night for South Florida so I’m sure the weather interfered with the number of reservations they had accepted and they were no longer able to accommodate everyone inside, however that was not our problem and there is an appropriate and courteous way to handle that type of scenario which was overlooked. I consider myself a foodie and have frequented many restaurants in my lifetime, including high-end restaurants with the so-called two hour max, but never have I been rushed to leave without even being asked if I was done, told I could take my beverage to go, and so rudely dismissed by management. I can assure you that I will not be returning to Lynora’s! There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from, with far exceeding customer service to give my money to...
