Well, we tried again and it was a reminder of why we don’t go. We ordered online, waited 20+minutes for it to be made (there was only one person in line), two people working behind the counter and only two people finishing their food in the dining area. They had no more cookies so they had to then make them, okay 6 more minutes.. after all of that time, they forgot the dressing that was supposed to be on the side of a salad.. I’m not sure who goes out of their way to get a salad without dressing. Also no bread. The receipt states everything very clear, not sure why it’s such a common theme for there to always be missing items that are paid for. Definitely not worth the wait and will not be coming back there. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. Times are too tough to be spending your hard earned money here.
Food is 10/10. Customer service lacks.. severely. If you order online, be prepared to check your bag in store before you leave because they will in-fact forget something even when it’s clearly typed on the order receipt. I ordered a salad that has avocado on it and upon eating I see there’s no avocado. My s/o ordered and paid for extra dressing (did not receive the dressing) so I go back in and asked for the extra dressing(unfortunately on my end I didn’t know he paid for extra dressing already online so I ended up paying for it again in store), bread and lemon that was supposed to be in the bag and there were 4-5 girls just standing behind the counter and looked at me like they were lost. The woman who I’m assuming was the manager had poor customer service as well. She said they didn’t put the lemon in the bag because they ran out.. did they also run out of the bread and dressing? Is it hard to put the extra dressing in the bag this one time with a little note explaining it usually costs extra, but will give it just this time? And maybe a note saying you ran out of lemons? They seem to not want to give anything to the customer that may seem “extra” even when it’s paid for. Mind you there was not one customer in the store and the plaza was very empty as it was a Monday evening. If they were busy maybe I could understand. Even though the food is great, unfortunately the consistent lack of items + poor customer service it’s not...
Read moreI had been looking forward to the opening of this restaurant for a while so I ate here today with my mother and her boyfriend. I wasnt very impressed. Overall it was alright but there's other better options out there. The warm bowl was very cold. The chicken wasnt very appetizing. The rice was not very good. Food wasnt very flavorful. My moms salad bowl wasnt much better. She didn't see the cripy wontons and other toppings to put on it because they were up high instead of with the other toppings and I had to explain to her they had them but it was too late because we already were sitting down. Staff should have explained better to her the options. Staff said there was no fat free or lowfat dressings when I asked. The side of bread they give was very awful. My mom threw it away. That needs to be fixed. A staff member referred to my moms boyfriend as her husband instead of just saying gentleman when asking him what he wanted on his bowl. Not a huge deal but staff needs to be careful how they refer to their customers because it could be a bigger problem in the future with other guests. Place needs some work done on it a bit. I would suggest maybe somehow warming up the warm bowls because they are cold, changing the bread , giving a few more toppings then just 4 , a place down the street gives 6 toppings and adding some lowfat or fat free salad options. I won't really be rushing back...
Read moreJust Salad's name is misleading since this is not just an ordinary salad. They make a heck of a good healthful meal, all while being environmentally conscious.
First off, the place is immaculately clean, super bright, and welcoming. We were greeted by the incredibly friendly Kevin who walked me through the menu, suggested his favorite, and told us more about the mission of the business.
The staff was all super friendly and fast, answering questions and filling and mixing up our salads. They were extra accommodating with some of the substitutions I made, which was definitely appreciated.
Every ingredient was fresh, and the combinations they picked out worked really well together. One time I went for the Crispy Chicken Poblano which was absolutely delicious. I was worried the ranch dressing would be too overwhelming but it was actually nice and light. Another time I went for a custom salad which was absolutely fantastic.
I also tried out their homemade cucumber mint lemonade, which was really refreshing.
Their environmental focus was a nice bonus. Their utensils are reusable and compostable, offer a $1 reusable bowl you can buy and bring back which gets you a free extra salad ingredient every time.
I can't wait to come back for...
