Manhattan Joe’s in Boca Raton. Coming home from an event and my kids are hungry so we decide to get pizza, closest thing to us is Manhattan Joe’s in Polo Shoppes. It’s expensive to start, but that was neither here nor there when you’re out of options. The part that killed me was the man putting the lip of the boxes on the floor before folding them with multiples sliding inside down onto the floor fully and being picked up and assembled as if that wasn’t an issue or hazard or just plain nasty. I overhear them joking about going through so many boxes and offering a discount if they bring the box back, so being me I ask if I can get a discount for the box having been on the ground first, I’m met with a “really?” Look and comment is “well the pizza is 500 degrees so it’ll kill any germs.” I explain that the oven is 500 degrees and the pizza is probably between 135-160 and common sense should tell you that placing the boxes on the floor is gross. His attitude was far more gross than the floor box. Definitely won’t get a second chance and will follow up with management about making sure their employees are ServeSafe Certified since common sense does not apply. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Pizza was okay, nothing special. On our mushroom slice, the mushrooms were still raw. The thin crust was a plus, but our margherita pizza was undercooked and we had to send it back into the oven because the dough was still somewhat raw. Also, disappointed that the margherita pizza did not have fresh tomatoes on it. This place has very limited seating. The service was horrible! They were not busy when we walked in except for 2 customers already working on their meal, yet not one person greeted us when we walked in the door. We dined in after work one night and came at the recommendation of some clients. When our meat pizza was finished, they didn't tell us it was ready and left it on top or the oven. When we got up to ask if it was our pizza 20 minutes later, they said yes. Unacceptable!

Their pizza caught me off guard! I never expected to find decent Pizza in the Boca area, but these guys proved me wrong! Ordered a Meat Lover's pizza with extra sauce and "well done", and that is exactly what I got . Cooked to perfection and that crust was money! Thin and super crispy just how I like it. The sauce was not too acidic and the cheese was delicious, along with all the meat toppings. This was just good pie! If y'all think there is no decent pizza in Boca, call these guys. They are offering a good product. I'll definitely get another pie while in town. BTW, this was delivery order, so I can't comment on the service and ambiance of the restaurant, but I'll definitely dine in next time!

I met my girlfriend here for dinner after she suggested i would enjoy their New York style pizza. New York style pizza grew out of the Neapolitan style pizza that Italian immigrants brought with them when they came to New York. New York pizza is characterized by large slices with a thin crispy crust that is foldable. The dough is topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese along with any added toppings. I grew up in New Jersey and pretty much love any kind of pizza but if you want authentic New York pizza endorsed by a discriminating New Yorker, this is your place.

Manhattan Joe's is a small chain, there are two other locations in Boca Raton. This location opened in the very nice Polo Club shopping center. The shopping center recently got a makeover and it looks great. The restaurant is no frills, cozy. There are a few tables inside and tables on their patio.

My friend ordered our pizza before I arrived and I gave her cart blanche to pick whatever toppings she wanted. She ordered us a chicken and pineapple pizza and even had my favorite Dr. Brown's cream soda waiting. It is nice when someone knows everything you like.

The pizza was covered in a generous amount of toppings and had the excellent crispy crust she raved about. A small pizza was more than enough for two people. The people working there are extremely nice too, finding the perfect container for my leftover slices and directing us to our next destination. This isn't the kind of place you come for the ambiance, although the outside looks great especially on a cool night. You come here for the food and no matter how you slice it, they make...

This is the first and only time I've been to this pizza place. While the place is tiny with only a few tables, that didn't prevent the place from being the busiest pizza parlor I've ever seen.

I got a large pizza plain. It had a thin crust and he'd just he right amount of cheese and sauce. The sauce was very good and had a unique flavor to it. Depending on how long I stay in Florida I will definitely go back.

Oh, and I want to make mention of the three guys I saw behind the counter. I don't know any of their names, but they are all good at their jobs. The gentleman at the register took care of taking orders and payments. Periodically when he had time, he would go look at each customer in turn and recite to himself what they had. He was never wrong and had an amazing memory. He was also very funny and very kind. The second guy was like a machine of pizza making. One after another he kept putting together pie after pie and never missing a beat. The third guy was in control of pulling the pies etc. out of the oven and making sure the order we're right. I never saw a mistake. They all did an...
