McDonald's — Restaurant in Florida

By far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I’ve had so many problems that I don’t know where to begin. They truly deserve ZERO stars but that’s not an option. Drive-thru is not only slow as molasses, but they rarely get your order correct. I’ve sat in line for 20+ minutes when there was only 3 cars in line!! I sat at one of the order intercoms for 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order while 4 people went through the second one. I just decided to drive up to the window and place my order there. Kid asked me if I had the “such and such meal.” To which I said no. I never had my order taken while 4 other cars who arrived well after me went to the other ordering line and proceeded right through. He apologized and asked which line I was in. Told him the first one. He said that’s the line he’s in charge of!! Well hello. Wake up junior.

Ordering is not only a hassle, but getting your food correct is a huge problem. Happy meals are constantly missing toys, or weren’t given the extra fries, they try to “forget” to give you the kids’ drinks. ALWAYS ALWAYS check your food before you drive off. It sucks to get home and realize that the hamburger you ordered is actually a cheeseburger wrapped in a hamburger wrapper. They ask if you need any sauce for nuggets and then they don’t give you any. You have to ask for it. If they tell you to pull up and wait for your food in a parking spot, tell them no and that you will wait right where you are. Why get pushed out of the way so they can keep the line moving when they should be working on your food??

Last week, I went inside because I’m done with the drive through. The line inside was long so I used a self serve kiosk to order a Diet Coke. Just a drink. Then I waited for 10 minutes. I felt bad for the ONE lady who was actually doing work. Not only was she taking orders, she was running food out to customers, preparing/organizing food that was cooked. We all felt bad for her. Normally I would be irate at waiting so long just for a drink cup but it was clear that she was the only one working and I know she was stressed. Meanwhile there’s two or three people in the back laughing having a good time, not doing anything.

So what have we learned? This is by and far the worst McDonald’s. If you can, avoid at all costs. If you must, follow these rules: drive thru is absolutely horrible. Long waits, wrong orders. Check your order thoroughly. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes in drive-thru line. Inside is just as disorganized but you may have better luck as far as...

Crazy people are known to do the save thing over and over again expecting a different result... I MUST BE CRAZY! I keep going to this location and the food is consistently HORRIBLE!

I haven't had a decent, crispy fry in forever! The food is always cold! Soft drinks are always flat! Just now we ordered 2 fish sandwiches, rib sandwich, fries, coke and diet coke. The bun on the rib sandwich was burned on the inside and rock hard. No exaggeration, I promise! My fish sandwiches were not even warm. How is this possible at 11:15? They just started cooking lunch.

Last night we drove to a different McDonald's in Bradenton where the coke was normal and my sandwich, although not as it should be, was warm.

Oh... and several months ago we had another horrible experience at this McDonald's. My sister took her quarter pounder back to the manager because it was raw. She was given another sandwich which was also raw. The nasty, hateful manager snapped at her saying.... "You're not getting another one"! Usually the sandwiches are over cooked and cold.

It's pathetic that a business with the resources, training, etc that McDonald's has - they can't serve a decent hot meal.

My sister and I both worked at McDonald's as kids - it was nothing like the McDonald's of today! I would never have passed cold soggy fries out that window! We had time markers in the food bins and tossed food out immediately when the quality standard was passed. THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE or hot storage bin for cooked meats. It came off the grill, on a bun and to the customer.

General update 11/3/2023 They still get the orders wrong shocker I only get breakfast if I decide to get McDonald's. Usually takes about an hour to receive my order. The staff look clueless or mad all the time as well. And will look at you smile and leave to hide in the back to avoid your questions or order I guess. One of the workers is very aggressive....not sure if she's still there. That's all they still terrible as usual.

The new people that just started will always forget your food it's been the last 4 times and if you let them know they you accuse you of lying and trying to get free food. I'm betting some ones stealing food the last I came back for my food it was in a small bag off to the side even though it would have fit in my nearly empty bag. Also called corporate and they were aswome.

Update Sept 23 2022 New management went during peak hours got my food quick even the workers are happy cudos to the new management!
