This is long, but simply saying this place was fantastic just doesn't cut it. I just wanted to take a minute to share some love for the staff that made my McDonald's experience at lunch today outstanding. We've all had a typical fast food experience and I'm sure terrible ones as well, but I had the greatest experience I have probably ever had in my life at this restaurant today. The customer service was thorough and polite. They confirmed my custom order at the drive thru which I very much appreciated because when you have dietary restrictions you don't want to find out your sandwich is wrong after you've pulled out of the parking lot. When I handed the gal at the pay window my debit card, she asked to see my ID which I also really appreciated. I specifically wrote "Please see ID" on the back of my card. You'd be surprised at how many people will turn the card over, look at it , and then swipe it anyway without asking. When I pulled up to the second window to receive my food, the young lady there was also very polite and had my food ready and waiting for me. My diet soda even had the diet tab pressed down, which you would think is something very simple, but it does not happen all that often. Instant anxiety relief, again, due to dietary restrictions. The most amazing thing that really took me by surprise was that my food was absolutely perfect! And not because they have nothing better to do than devote time to perfect presentation, this is a very busy McDonald's in the heat of lunch rush! I have to believe it's because the team that works here just really cares about delivering a quality product and experience. The sandwich was wrapped as if a professional gift wrapper had done it, and was clearly labeled with my custom order ticket. When I opened the wrapper the sandwich looked like they might use it in a commercial. If you told me they stacked my sandwich with a square and a level I would believe it, it was that perfect. When was the last time you had a fast food sandwich that didn't look like it was slapped together in 3.5 sec. If you are driving through Summerfield or the North part of The Villages, you won't be sorry you stopped at this McDonald's. Thank you so much for making my day...
Read moreI come here daily to get my routine steak egg and cheese on a bagel w/ a strawberry banana smoothie, (smoothies even twice a day) after serval times of their machine being serviced I continued to order smoothies four days straight the smoothies were not good by the time I would get to my clients home it would be spoiled to taste and discolored / cut. I’ve mentioned it to serval employees and they would say well it’s been fixed I even got to speak to a manager by the name of Jolie and I was told by her that she drinks them and they are not spoiled she doesn’t know what to tell me other then not to buy them anymore. The fact that a manager would tell a customer not to purchase an item instead of trying to get a customers to order more is outrageously unprofessional and inconsiderate. I have not purchased smoothies ever again.
I also spoke to a manager by the name of Michelle and her reply was if I had any issues after my purchase to call in or come o the location and she’ll refund me which I felt my business was appreciated and my health as well I’m a home nurse and I can tell you the list of dangers of consuming spoiled foods.
I’m sure McDonald’s corporate is also aware and expects their employees to run their locations with the company’s best interest.
In the morning drive-through the lady who takes the money is such a sweetheart always with a smile very welcoming. Afternoons same drive through window the tall gentleman is also a friendly guy and his concerns were 1000 x better then the manager who told me to not to purchase my desired item.
@McDonald’s please correct the matter! & get a...
Read moreBusy place, we were told by the cashier that we had a "big order", unsolicited opinion, but I asked her what that meant because we are senior citizens and ordered 2 meal deals, #6 and #2 which include a drink. We ordered the smaller size of those 2 meals. It sure didn't SEEM like we ordered an unusually large meal. I discounted the comment and proceeded to the pickup window. The girl pointed out to the farthest marked parking spot from her window and instructed me to go out there and wait for our order. No other car was told to go out there, but we complied. Sitting there, I pondered if our extra napkins would be brought out with our order. We sat there quite a bit of time, I started to envision cold food, forgotten napkins, so I called the # on the receipts, she was snappy but said stay there and wait until we cook your food!!! Oh my gosh, if ordering a #6 and a #2 is so complicated, what did all those other cars order? Not one of them were sent out there! Then our tiny sack of 2 sandwiches and 2 frys arrived. We also had been given our 2 unsweetened ice teas. Our "BIG" order could be held in one hand! I looked at my receipt...and THEN discovered why she called it big...there were 2 extra line items on our order, add tomato, add onions to my one sandwich. THIS created a slightly longer paper receipt, making it LOOK like a BIG order. The sandwich cook would have to toss a slice of tomato and some onion slivers onto my sandwich. I realize everyone is understaffed and overworked, but this is absolutely ridiculous. Next time I will drive thru another fast food, not this one, they cannot...
