Contrary to what this beginning states, this is not a bad review. There were many things wrong by the time that I had arrived at this location. First, I had visited once before to start my new account. We got all that situated and I was interested in ordering the new S22 Ultra, since I had never had a s pen before and wanted a couple of the other features. Second, the day that it was due to be shipped, changed and turned into me waiting a week. Meanwhile, my old phone is not able to make any calls because the phone I had at the time was not supported and out of date. So I really needed to get this new phone. My boyfriend had ordered the same phone except online, and it literally arrived the following day. So I went onto my At&t account and attempted to cancel the previous order and order the same one in a different color online, thinking that it would be OK. I tried three other times to order it over the course of that week, but there was nothing being submitted and it came back in error. So I called the support line, and that was no help because the lady I was with was not even able to find my account after being on the phone 30 minutes. So went into the store again. Third circumstance, the phone I had tried to order the first time but cancelled, still had something on there preventing me from ordering again. So we got that taken off and I decided that no matter what they had I was leaving with a phone. So they looked in inventory and the only one they had was the S22 Ultra in black, but the 512 storage version. Which was too much space for me, but after realizing that it was only going to be an 8$ difference than I was already paying, it wasn't that bad. So I decided to go with it. My phone would be better than my boyfriends lol. Then came the transfer. My phone port was already having issues with charging, but I forgot to mention this to them until we started transferring it. After the first one failed in 15 minutes it was already 7:30, so we decided to hook it up to their WiFi. They did worn me that it would take some time. I didn't realize that hooking it up to their WiFi would take an hour and 15 minutes for it to transfer. Both Phillip and Kai were very good at making sure that I was let out to grab something to eat while I waited, making conversation and overall just making sure that I had a good wait. And it flew by thanks to them. After everything was situated, I was able to leave with a new phone. Even though I got to the store at 6:45 and didn't leave until 9:00, I had an overall satisfied service, especially with all the problems preventing me from getting my new phone situated. Read moreLong time and very happy Verizon customers, but their pricing was way too high. Went to AT&T and was offered new phones and a senior Florida resident plan that was hard to turn down. Verizon would not budge on their price. Met with a number of friends and asked if they were happy with AT&T service, and got nothing but positive remarks. Back to the store to finish the purchase, but had to leave before it was complete. Sales rep Kai said he would hold our phones and accessories until we could get back in a day or two. Before we could get back, I tested positive for Covid. I texted Kai and told him I would be back as soon as I was able to. Showed up 10 days later and the phones and accessories we had chosen were still in the safe waiting for us. Kai was able to complete our purchase, transfer our data to the new phones, and cut our cell phone bill in half. We are hopeful that we will be happy, long time clients with AT&T.
It's been 6 months since my original review, and we are very happy with the AT&T service. Most of that time has been in our home state of Florida, but we have also traveled to the San Diego and Chicago areas. Not once have we had a dropped call. Frequent use of maps and driving directions have been excellent, and we have not had any additional charges for using too much data. Read moreI don’t know why we keep coming back here. There is an employee that works at this store I won’t name names but he is absolutely the worst. Lazy, unhelpful, and rude. Somehow we end up with him every time. He told us a data transfer to upgrade the phone would take 8 hours plus an additional hour to clear the trade in phone so he wouldn’t be able to help because the store closed in two hours. We got there at 3:45 and it closed at 6 pm. Mind you I had the same exact phone ordered my upgrade online did at at home and it took less than an hour. My third time getting this guy there and him rolling his eyes and acting terribly inconvenienced. Meanwhile going to another AT&T store and working with another associate we are able to accomplish what we set out for every single time. I don’t know if he is homophobic or what because it’s every time I come in with my wife his attitude changes. Terrible. I am personally switching my service over to T mobile after fifteen years of service with AT&T. numerous bad interactions at my local store having to drive an hour away to avoid the bad interactions I will not continue to be inconvenienced.
