I come to this McDonald’s all the time as I live and work in the area. I have never had a problem until tonight.
JAMES, is the problem and should be reprimanded, retrained or for the betterment of the restaurant, fired!
I always make very large purchases from this restaurant in the tune of nearly $100 each. Usually pretty large orders and never have an issue they’ve always been 100% accurate. However I do know sometimes things happen and I am totally understanding to that.
Tonight at 10 PM I went to this restaurant after placing a mobile order and got my bags sealed and they were brought to me by James. Once I got home I noticed that it was short a 20 piece spicy chicken nugget. Not really feeling like having to drive all the way back to the restaurant I attempted to call and the phone rang for an excess of four minutes with no answer. So I just decided to drive back to the restaurant. Upon doing so I was greeted very nicely by a lady on the speaker and told her what the problem was. When I pulled around to the side James sticks his head out of the drive-through window and proceeds to tell me that I really should check my order before I leave the restaurant and basically telling me it was my fault that the order was short. He’s so badly wanted to sit there and argue and have a dissertation with me that it took me having to tell him to hush and just give me the chicken nuggets that I was shorted. He was so busy trying to get a word in and make a point with me that instead of following the order and giving me a 20 piece spicy chicken nugget he hands me a 10 piece regular chicken nugget and I told him that that was still incorrect and that it was supposed to be 20 he went back and got a 20 piece regular chicken nugget and brought it to the window and I then told him that it wasn’t regular that they were supposed to be spicy and he then went back again and got the correct item all the while trying to make me feel like it was my fault and problem for not checking for their error before leaving the restaurant only 20 minutes earlier.
There was no apology there was no remorse, there was no empathy or anything such as that. No sorry you had to drive all the way back or anything. Have they answered the phone I would have just gotten it tomorrow or some thing. But he wanted to keep arguing with me and telling me that he had just clocked in and brought the order out and that I should have checked it before I left. That is insane. I will drive out of my way from now on to not go to this McDonald’s to not have to deal with James condescending attitude...
Read moreSo using the McDonald's app this morning which I use all the time when I'm there somehow the lady put the code in wrong or rang up the wrong item for the code it rang it up as a McDonald's wild sauce instead of a breakfast McMuffin for $2 it says in my history that I ordered a wild sauce from that McDonald's The cashier proceeds to tell me that the code was already redeemed so I gave her another code which then she tells me that one was for points brought the manager over explain to her try to show her All she kept saying is there's nothing she can do there's nothing she can do there's nothing she can do I manage a very large store and if that was the message I gave back to my customers I would be written up and put on disciplinary action The fact that the customer is trying to show you and let you know something happened with the ring up of the clerk whether it was a mess up on her part an issue with the app whatever the situation to sit there and respond a hundred times there's nothing I can do there's nothing I can do there's nothing I can do went right to another McDonald's I showed them what happened the district manager will be contacting me but the way that it was handled was near embarrassing You're telling me a McDonald's manager cannot look at the phone to see what happened to fix it yeah I can go to another McDonald's and in 2 seconds they resolve the issue I'll be filing a complete with the 800 number and the district manager because this McDonald's I go to very very often it's the closest one to my house but I will not be frequently in that McDonald's anymore worst customer service I've ever seen I literally every day and polite to my customers Yes sir no sir Yes ma'am All right Mr Ms customer I understand there were some confusion whatever I wasn't asking for anything for free I still wanted to buy the rest of my order but is one of the worst experiences of customer service I've...
Read moreLast night, 7/31, I went through the drive thru, ordered 2 McKrispy chicken fillets and asked that they be wrapped in the wrapper that the sandwich would be wrapped in and not be placed in the plastic container with a knife and fork (as I’ve done since the beginning of the year) the young man at the call box was polite, took my order and when I pulled around I saw him telling the other staff my instructions. When he came to the window, I paid but then someone told him on his ear piece that I wasn’t allowed to get my order that way because the chicken fillet would burn my hand through the paper. I was heated at the window, they said they were going to refuse to sell me the chicken at all! The night lead said it was “policy” they weren’t allowed to just put it in a wrapper even though I’ve been eating the McKrispy this way since January!! To resolve this, since he couldn’t, I asked that a sandwich wrapper also be placed in my bag so I could eat my chicken fillet while I was driving just as I always do. Its ironic, especially since the first fillet I pulled from the plastic container was JUST LUKE WARM, I took one bite or I should say I tried to take one bite and it was long past it’s serve time, it was actually hard/tough! I put that one back in the bag and retrieved the second one, it was warm but in no way was it “hot” and the chicken was dry. Total disappointment.
