This location is among the worst in the area. Which is saying a lot since there are quite a few bad o despite this being the Kissimmee/ Orlando area near some of the biggest theme park and tourist areas on the planet! I arrived about 7:20 am today Sunday May 14, 2023 and decided to go to dining room. Big mistake! I discover the doors on both sides locked. Asked drive thru person about door situation. She said hang on and after a while (5 min) another employee came out to give order to a waiting car parked just passed drive through pick up window. I asked him “why are the doors locked? His Reply: “I don’t know.” Ok. I figured someone would soon unlock doors. At register, and they can clearly see you, while filling orders, after a few minutes, the apparent manager tells me she has no one at the register and to use their infernal, slow, time wasting, limited capabilities kiosk. ((sigh)) I place and order for 1. Large. Coke. Nothing else or special and the wait begins. They (she) can see me. They (she) knows I placed that order 10 minutes ago. Then I was asked “did you place your order?” And while standing in ‘waiting for paid orders’ are 1.5 feet from registers and with the kiosk receipt in my left hand answered “yes. Some time ago” in an exasperated/bewildered tone. I was finally given my 1. Large. Coke. At the time I began writing this “waste of time - nobody - cares” review at 7:58 am, the dining area doors were yet to be opened despite several customers knocking to gain access. The lack of acknowledgment, being forced to deal with inanimate objects, and general lack of care of customers makes me feel unwelcome. Like I should think twice about going somewhere not because of bad products but because I feel like I am burdening them just by being there. It’s not always a bad experience. You have 2 young ladies that always treat me and all others like royalty. Exemplary. If this review is replied to, I will provide names. I don’t see her right now but I’ll go and ask if requested. If McDonald’s or the franchise owner sees this please visit this place as an undercover customer and see for yourselves. I NEVER give bad reviews and always acknowledge great service or products or results. And often speak to managers about my good experience. I wish I could and would be welcomed...
Read moreIve been coming to this McDonalds for 5 years. Today I went to buy my daughter a happy meal. I requested an extra toy and was told I needed to buy a second happy meal to obtain the second toy.
Im 41 years old and have been collecting McDonald's toys since I was 5 years OLD. I have never been told I can not buy an extra toy. Thats number 1.
Second I have purchased at this specific store more than 20 toys in one receipt. So its not store policy that stopped this employee to make the sale. Then she proceeded to say "you cant buy extra on this specific collection" at which point I was like WHATEVER.
My darling the collection which I was charged for on the receipt was Ninja Turtles and Hello Kitty. What i got was Mario Kart which is a past collection from months ago which btw I also spent my money to collect with my daughter. One thing I dont tolerate is BS. So, why am i paying for what im not getting? Corporate will receive a formal complaint.
Third, as simple as a $2 dollar toy sale is; what these McDonalds employees dont understand is that many of us (because im not the only one) have spent a lifetime of money and time collecting these toys and driving from McDonalds to McDonald's trying to complete collections. My time, money and loyalty counts.
Four! I am extremely annoyed that I have to explain to my daughter that she couldn't get a second toy which was a reward for her getting two shots today and not crying and being a big girl. I shouldn't need to spend extra on food that I will have to throw away. Thats a waste.
Lastly, you dont need to worry about me showing up there again because you lost me as a customer. Its close to my daughter's school and on my way but I will go the extra mile for a place that is loyal to its customers as the customers...
Read moreThis was a poor experience from start to finish. We were driving by and my kid wanted a kids meal so I figured I would get something. It has been probably over 12 years since I last ate McDonald's. After this I think I can wait the rest of my life and never go there again. We hit the drive-thru and it started off with the person not understanding English well enough and having trouble with our order. In the end everything was correct and prepared as ordered and that was the best I could say about this place. I drove around to pay and the lady at that window was nice but clearly taking an order. No issues there though. When I drove up to the next window to get my food I sat and waited for a moment and then they opened the window and just shoved the food out at me. This woman clearly was unhappy just from the look on their face which wasn't aimed at me. It doesn't really get any better from there. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese with just ketchup and pickles which is I guess what I received. This quarter pound with cheese was clearly a lot smaller than they used to be. The patty was smaller and the bun was a lot smaller. The burger itself was overcooked and dry. The bun was also quite dry. After a good half hour I had a very upset stomach from eating this. The food never tasted this bad in the past even though it would upset my stomach a lot more. At least it had flavor and the burgers were juicy. I know so many people still rave about McDonald's because they've been brainwashed into believing that it's good food. It definitely is not. It's possible that I just stopped at a very bad location of theirs but I truly don't believe that and won't take a chance on their food ever again especially at the prices that...
