This is the closest McDonalds in my area, the other being almost 15 minutes away driving without traffic. Unfortunately not only do they get Drive-Thru orders wrong fairly regularly (ergo make sure to check your meals before you even pull out of the drive-thru) but they also LOVE telling you that they can only accept cash.
Throughout the night they love to just stop taking card. anywhere from 12am to around 5am they FREQUENTLY stop taking card which keeps many potential customers from eating because they only carry card (Me being one of those people). Supposedly this is because they count their register but for a 24/7 McDonalds i think its rather odd that you are counting registers at 12am. Not to mention at different times of the night instead of a strict schedule so that we know not to waste our time and gas to try to order something.
It also makes no sense. Why would you turn of electronic transactions when you are counting Physical Cash? Its the Cash count that you dont want messing up by accepting more cash but you turn off card payments and take cash payments instead?
I know what they do. They claim they aren't taking card so that they work less throughout the night to get a break because they know many customers pay with credit or debit card.
If you are going to set up a 24/7 McDonalds you'd think the main point would be that you could have a meal 24/7 if you have the money to pay for it. But obviously that isnt the case. I'm not about to drive to a gas station and use an extra $3 fee to withdraw cash nor spend the gas money to drive almost 20 minutes to my only bank location to then drive 20 minutes back to the McDonalds to withdraw money just for their choice to turn off Card Payments. Either find a way that it doesnt get in the way with orders or just change to a non 24/7 McDonalds so i dont waste my time when the store is pretty much non...
Read moreThe food is not the problem. The service is. First of all, they only fill the fries halfway, and if you ask for something like "no pickles," you might still get pickles. Then there are two incidents that stand out. I ordered two $5 meals, and when I got home, the nuggets were missing. I went back and informed them that the nuggets were not in the bag. I was told that I was lying by the employee, and words were exchanged because I do not know anyone who would go all the way home and come back to "pretend" that nuggets are missing. She obviously wasted my time and gas by not including the nuggets that go with my meal and then tried it with me. But I can give back that same energy. The manager had to step in to give me the nuggets that go with the meals so that I could go back home and feed my niece and nephew their complete meals. Another time, I ordered a large iced coffee with four creams (because I like my coffee very light). I got there, and the employee had my coffee in a large cup for fraps/milkshakes, not a large for iced coffee/soda. These are two different large cups. When I pointed it out that it was the wrong size, she began to argue. When she was corrected by another employee, she changed the cups and just poured more coffee in the cup instead of making it the way I directed. It came out looking like hot chocolate rather than a light coffee. I thought I could fix it at home, but then I realized that is their job, not mine. So, the manager made her and another employee redo my order the correct way. The food is not the issue at all. The taste is the same as any restaurant, but the service is just not good. They refuse to accept when they are wrong and want to argue about it. Please check your order before you leave the restaurant or drive thru. Read moreNewest visit? 1/18/24- The worst manager. Rude and nasty about everything and then after waiting 20 minutes for my order she slams the bag down on the counter. Doesnt say have a nice day or anything. Just yells the number. I said you mean 176? As she yelled 167! She looks and says YUP and walked away. Get her tf out of there. Your business will continue going down with her as a manager! $50 tonight and food was barely enjoyable. 7 people behind me came and left. Yet I was still sitting there waiting for 2 big macs, 10 pc nugget and a double quarter pounder. Maybe she was being vindictive over me saying I had a tomato allergy to please make sure they change gloves so no tomato or ketchup or tomato juices touched my food. All she said was "well that must suck" and " I'd be afraid to eat out" instead of "we will make sure your order is done correctly ". SHE NEEDS TO GO ASAP!
I placed a $52 order last night. I'm highly allergic to tomatoes and asked for a double 1/4 pounder meal only cheese plain. I got my food and it had Ketchup and everything else all over it. What's ketchup made out of? Obviously the one thing I'm allergic to. I was also missing 2 large fries and the BBQ sauces for the 60 nuggets I ordered. I tried to call and they took the phones off the hook. Been calling all morning and they still aren't answering. I've placed several orders through Uber eats and never get my full orders or money back. They are rude and don't fix their mistakes. Worst McDonald's in county! Needless to say I had to throw my food away and watch everyone...
