OMG!!! MichelBob's Has Never Disappointed Us!!! My family & I have dined there many, many times & with friends to attend as well. Sometimes 12+ people in our party. They have Always delivered a Great dining experience for Everyone! Food.. Phenomenal!! Service.. Excellent!! Atmosphere...Couldn't be more casual & Fun!! Always Very Clean. Fall off the bone BBQ Ribs, Spoon tender Sliced Beef. Phenomenal Smoked Chicken & Succulent Baked Beans, Best Ever Coleslaw, Sweet Potato Tots & the Most Delicious Desserts! Now this I'm about to say Blew My Mind!!! The Price Was Right!!!!! I emailed Amanda, the Awesome General Manager & requested help for an event.. I was in charge of the food & the entire event was based on all donations as our budget was tight. She led me to Karen, the Exceptional Catering Coordinator. I simply told her what we were doing & She assisted me with the menu of Ribs, Beef, Chicken or Pork. We chose the pork. Veronica the Kitchen Manager there Did Not Disappoint!! It Was The Most Melt In Your Mouth Pulled Pork!!! She worked hard for Our Event!! WHAT?? Who does this?? MICHELBOB'S & Their Amazing Team!!! So many people at the event wanted to know where this Delicious Pulled Pork came from & I Was Proud To Say.. MichelBob's off of Airport Pulling Rd. in Naples. While the older woman who ran the counter was polite and the food was provided to me quickly, the food was absolutely substandard. Of the four meats I ordered both the massively overloaded pulled pork sandwich and the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs were both over cooked, bland and absolute lacking in any discernible flavor I threw them both away 99.9% uneaten. The "garlic bread" was just two pieces of white mass produced American sandwich bread covered in oil with little or no garlic provided at all.

The two sausages I ordered were a jalapeño cheddar and a "hot and spicy" sausage. The "hot and spicy" sausage was being generous a five out of ten and the jalapeño cheddar was a 2 out of 10.

The the best part of the meal were the incredibly thin chicken breast which had some blackening and a bit of the juices let out by the cooking process, however it was roughly equivalent to a thin (1/3rd thickness) version of a grilled chicken sandwich at any fast casual chain (Applebee's, Chi-Chi's, Chili's) in the nation.

This place is a stereotypical example if what happens when the average white American who's palate is built on bland corporately created examples of food tries to create a restaurant built around a specialty cuisine it ends up becoming as bland and boring as they are and all the average everyday white lemmings follow along like a preprogramed robot to sing it's praises. This place is a tourist trap avoid it...

We have visited and loved Michelbob's in Naples, FL for years... easily over 10 years and have been there dozens of times.

But this last time was not good, basically because of the server/waitress, she was AWFUL. The only thing she did correctly was order the right food. She forgot our drinks, then told us they did not have the drinks we ordered from off the menu. Then forgot our soft drinks.... never came back to check on us, screwed up the check, and so much more.

I hope the owners/managers see this and do something about this... it was NOT busy, but maybe she had an off day and/or didn't care about things since she was so young? So here's the overall rating:

Food: 5 out of 5 (especially because of the ribs)

Service: 1 out of 5... this includes not greeting her customers, to forgetting items after reminding her and STILL did not bring the items... we thought she left for the night and had to go to the counter to pay the bill... Bad bad bad...

So this is why it is 3 out of 5... great food, AWFUL service... again, we have been there multiple times and didn't have the best servers, but this one ruined it for us. Thank God the baby back ribs are the best in the COUNTRY (not kidding). Hope this young lady is either trained better or fired; you will have more customers complaining about her (please note that others at the front didn't seem to be concerned about this server and...
