UPDATE: After posting this review and filling out the online Moe's survey, I received a call from the one of the owners, the COO, Steve. I was pleasantly surprised to find this company cares about it's customers' satisfaction and loyalty. It's refreshing to find a company that does more than pay lip service to the concept of customer service.

I want to be clear in my review that my complaint is not with the overall quality of the food here. It is good food. And no complaint about Moe's in general (in fact this is my favorite Florida Moe's, I travel all over Florida and have tried many locations). e Also I would like to single out Emily, Joe and Ken as excellent employees. They've been with the company a long time and I have had nothing but great service from all of them.

The food in this location has always been excellent, fresh and tasty. The salsa has always been excellent. I love the new guac salsa. My complaint is that the portion sizes for my "go to" meal changed drastically (got smaller) and I no longer could justify the cost vs value.

Back to my complaint: Steve explained the change I experienced (horrible portion size) was a corporate decision and ONLY made to the tacos (go figure!). Steve urged me to try other menu items that have not been monkeyed with by corporate and report my experience back to him.

Since I love this location as one of my "go-to" lunch destinations, I was very disappointed to have to write off the tacos-- but I will go back and try other menu items.

I have amended the review to 4 starts to reflect the problem is only with one menu item (can't justify higher until corporate changes it back).

original review below: $14 for four half-empty grilled chicken tacos? I don’t think so. I used to love this Moe’s— I would eat lunch here at least once per week, sometimes 2-3 time per week. But they have apparently cut their portion size in half and kept the price the same. You should not be half full after paying $14 for lunch. Tacos with a tablespoon portion of chicken per taco...really? I get far better value for my money at Chipotle or Pollo Tropical. This is the second time in a row this happened, I should have know better than to try agiam after the first time, but I thought give it one more chance. Never again...

My complaint is that the portion sizes for my "go to" meal changed drastically (got smaller) and I no longer could justify the cost vs value.

The COO explained the change to the portion sizes was a corporate decision that ONLY applies to the tacos (unfortunately my go-to meal), and did not affect the other menu items.

The COO politely asked me, that if I liked the food quality, to try other menu items and report back to him. He also asked me to post my negative review of the item change to the corporate website so they will understand this decision to reduce portion sizes on the taco items is causing them to lose customers. (Which I will do).

I am amending the review to (4) stars because the quality of food is excellent, but I cannot justify higher because of the bad decision corporate made by messing with the portion size of my favorite menu item.

Original review: Used to come to this location 2-4 times per week. Long time employees know me by name, it's like visiting old friends. At any rate management has made lots of changes including reducing portion sizes--- but of course, keeping costs the same. In the case of a taco the meat portion size is literally half a scoop, which is about two tablespoons of chicken per taco. This is a joke and a rip off. I paid $14.89 (including tax) for (4) half-empty tacos. So my two tablespoons of meat per taco cost me on average $1.86/table spoon. That's literally about two bites of meet for nearly $4/taco. This is a rip off. DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Chipotle, buy double meat and for less money you get about 5X the protein. It's shame as a enjoy their flavors and quality salsa, but I'm not giving my hard earned cash to a rip-off restaurant. No longer a...

wow!!! I love Moes but this one has gone down hill fast. I was there Wednesday April 5th. we walked in and everything was empty, we asked if they were restocking and with an attitude I was asked what I wanted I said the beef and she turns around and takes out of the warmer the beef. I order my bowl and she puts on this greasy beef (didn't even bother to stir up the beef to get the floating inch of grease on the top) she kept asking what else with an attitude and I went down the line. we get to the sour cream and you can see she was upset (young girl with black hair) after pulling out almost 3 squeeze bottles of sour cream all empty she gets one that is full and when she squeezes it the top comes off and all the sour cream goes every where. with out even a blink she asks what else. No apologies for now giving me a bowl of sour cream (can't believe that she bought that was ok) she hands the trey to the young kid at the register and even he was like what is this. I replied sour cream at this point I just told them I don't want it. Not once did anyone apologize or ask me if I wanted it to be remade. they where actually going to sell me that, unbelievable. My son was starving and so I just paid for his and we left. went next door to the new poke bowl place and it was amazing. this was just crazy that a multimillion dollar business was left to be ran by 3 teenagers. if there was an adult or manager I didn't see one. this is not the first time that I have experienced bad service or food at this location. I hope that they get their place in order and fix things. My family and I love eating at Moes and this is the closest one to us. Now we have to drive down the road. I would give it zero star...

Today, we ordered a Homewrecker burrito meal on-line - which happened to work correctly today. I picked up the order and took it back home. When we opened the bag, the burrito we saw was tiny. We actually measured it as the menu states the flour burrito they use is 12 inches in diameter. Ours, after stuffing with the 5 ingredients was just under 5 inches. I called the store and was told the flour shell is 12 inches and they cannot guarantee what it ends up being. I was then turned over to the manager and was told the same thing. So basically, my Homewrecker ended up being $2 per inch. Fortunately, the manager said bring it back and he would remake it. I took it back and he did what he said he would do. So, nearly 30 minutes after I ordered my burrito on-line, I had my burrito, but not a thing more. No apology or explanation - felt more like "let's get this guy out the door". For the record, there was not an ill word said by anyone. While I was waiting, I took a picture of the store, from in front of the register. As you can see, looks like a train wreck. I like Moe's food, but the last couple of experiences (in-store and on-line), as well as the increase in price, I think its time to make our next burrito at home.

Average. Not special. This Moe’s location is just average. The service and food were ok. Nothing special. The restaurant is NOT clean. It’s always interesting to watch the employees AND manager when they are not serving customers. During this visit we observed them grouped in a circle behind the counter talking and laughing for a very long time. There were plenty of tables to clean, trash cans to empty, and food on the floor. Also over the last few years, the last 2 tables have become a storage area for extra supplies. I would also add that the manager was not friendly to customers as we went through the line to order our food. She didn’t smile and was grumpy when she spoke to us.
