Nando Grill Westchester — Restaurant in Florida

We came to visit from out of state and heard several great things about this establishment from so many people — we ordered the plato mixto carne de vara, and we especially enjoyed: the meats, yuca hervida, queso de mano, the guasacaca, the pico de gallo, and the queso frito. All of these things were filled with flavor. The one thing we recommend needs more flavor and more filling aka meat (because it honestly had nothing inside) is the hallaquita de chicharrón — it could be great with flavor, but it honestly tasted bland. What we also loved the most was Barbara — she was so sweet, so kind, so wonderful, she has a great personality and we chit chatted as we were the only table there. She was so friendly, we enjoyed our conversation with her so much! Tried Nandi Grill at their dine-in restaurant after having experienced their food truck before. While the food is still good—especially the meat, which was flavorful and well-cooked—the experience feels overpriced for a mostly self-serve setup. I paid $42 for a simple meal, which made me think I’d rather spend that at a full-service restaurant.

The food and service were wonderful, only two people running a very busy food truck, the poor server was, attending all tables, helping prepare the food, cleaning, getting the bills done, charging the tables😰, etc and the other guy in charge of the grilling was also grilling, cutting, preparing food, bringing it the table, etc; they both were great! WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS: how come a business selling so much food have ONLY TWO people doing the JOB of at least 4 or 5 people, THE OWNER must be very unconsiderate, taking advantage of two people doing the job of 5.
