We came to visit from out of state and heard several great things about this establishment from so many people — we ordered the plato mixto carne de vara, and we especially enjoyed: the meats, yuca hervida, queso de mano, the guasacaca, the pico de gallo, and the queso frito. All of these things were filled with flavor. The one thing we recommend needs more flavor and more filling aka meat (because it honestly had nothing inside) is the hallaquita de chicharrón — it could be great with flavor, but it honestly tasted bland. What we also loved the most was Barbara — she was so sweet, so kind, so wonderful, she has a great personality and we chit chatted as we were the only table there. She was so friendly, we enjoyed our conversation with her so much!
