On August 26, 2024 at approximately 11:45 a.m. near gate H at the Miami, FL airport I went to Nathan's famous hot dog with my daughter, we purchased one medium size Sprite and two of their french fry dishes that are smothered in chili, cheese or bacon etc.
Moments after paying for the items and being given the Sprite I was called back up and told that they didn't have french fries cheese or chili.
The manager was very snippy but said that she would refund me for everything except for the Sprite. Which I understood. She didn't seem to know how to issue the refund on the computer and did not provide me with any documentation that it had been refunded.
After getting home I looked at my credit card statement, it showed the original charge of $17.18 but no refunded amount. I sent a message to their corporate location and was contacted by a woman that had questions about which gate and terminal. I was told that there were several of their stands in the airport. I gave her that information 6 days ago and have yet to hear back from anyone and I have not received a refund.
In hindsight I wouldn't have purchased from them but there were little to no other options near our gate. From what I've experienced, their business practices are lacking in customer care. They really should do better.
Today, I sent one final email to the woman (Susan McCann), I'd been speaking with but I don't see a resolution to this...
Read moreService here started off great with the cashier as we ordered food. As we waited for food cashier told her manager that her screen showed that are order didn’t go through. Just as confused as the cashier was because she gave us the receipt showing that are card has been charged and clearly stated on the receipt that it was approved. The manager then proceed to tell us to call are bank and they will tell us it didn’t go through. At this point my husband and I are clearly confused on how looking at her are card it has processed and they gave us a receipt showing it was approved. Manager just kept insisting we call. So we did just that called are credit card company and they told us that the charges has been approved. She clearly hears them say it and she still proceeds to tell us well something must to happen to there system and they didn’t get paid so they can’t give us are order. This manger had not a care in then tells us this happens with there system all the time and pretty much it’s not her problem it’s something we have to take up with company and are credit card company. We asked for the customer service number she walked into the back and after waiting 5min she still never came back. I will never eat with this establishment. I truly believe in great customer service and that was not given at all. If this is a known issue with this establishment something definitely needs to be...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst ran food establishment I’ve ever been to in my 42 years. First, they were out of half the things on their menu. No fries, mozzarella sticks, lemonade, et al.
Then, the food pusher had no consistency with how she was calling out orders. First one I heard was “Hot Dog?” As if there’s only one person waiting on their food at a hot dog restaurant that ordered a hot dog. She’d interchange the item on the order with the order number or the name they took down for the order. This obviously resulted in people getting the wrong food. At one point she called out “Fried sandwich?” Was it the fried chicken? Fried fish? Us customers had no idea. Why ask for the name if you’re just going to arbitrarily call out whatever you want?
Staff was rude every step of the way. My friend ordered and she had his money then canceled his order while she put in and collected on an employee, then had to re-ring in my friend’s order. My order came out in a reasonable amount of time, but my friend’s took in excess of 20 minutes. After they cleared the board of every order they sat around chatting while my friend was standing at the counter waiting for his food. They acted offended when he asked about his order. Any time someone asked for something, ketchup, napkins, where to pick up the order, they’d just point without making eye contact or acknowledging you...
