If you want the best soft serve in the area, Twistee Treat is it. The ice cream tastes like ice cream because it is real ice cream. Dairy Queen is made with 98% artificial ingredients and doesn't taste as good. There are a lot of choices when it comes to options and flavors. They also do have some food options like hot dogs and burgers. If they aren't sold out they also have treats for dogs. The cost is in line with Dairy Queen (DQ is a little more), however you do get more here which is a plus. It is an out door place which is a down fall especially during the rain season. The staff is a bunch of young girls every time I go who as someone else posted could use better customer service skills. Half of the time they disappear in the back making people wait several minutes at the window, don't smile much, look bored and don't really give you the vibe they should. I even saw a guy have the window shut in front of him as he walked up. I'm sure it's not much fun working in a tight place that can get very, very busy at times, but that shouldn't stop anyone from treating others with a smile. After all they are getting paid which is always a plus these days. If it wasn't for that I would have given 5 stars instead of 4. There was one girl who was doing a good job, so it's not everyone there. As mentioned they do get very busy during certain times so parking can be tricky and there could be a long line all depending on when you go. They also require a $5.00 minimum if you are using a debit/credit card. They don't have that posted anywhere that I saw, but was told that it's a $5.00...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGiving a zero even though I love the ice cream bc of how I was treated. From the moment I walked up. Seems like everyone has an attitude. Iām asking questions about the deserts. No customer experience. No friendly help. No suggestions. I ordered something wrong and told them I meant to order something else. They (everyone in the area) looked at me. And says. Are You still are paying for this one, right? I said yes. I still need the item I meant to buy. Got my order on the way home noticed it was broke. The styrofoam. So I called and told her. And she says verbatim ā you probably did it when you put the brownie Sunday back inā. I told her. I didnāt push it in. I set it on top. So to sum it up. Nothing friendly about the experience. No willingness to help when questions about the menu and be blamed by the management for their poorly packaged Togo food. The register girl was by far the most unfriendly food service worker Iāve encountered. And why would the manager blame a customer? I asked for an extra brownie which I paid for. And I asked if it comes in squares. They said yes. And I open it and it doesnāt look like 3 and they crumbled it. I feel jipped. I added pics of the brownies to show how much is filled. Doesnāt look like 3. And since when donāt we practice smiles and politeness...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here for about 20 years. We came last night almost at close but they took our order. I was driving so I didn't eat mine till I got home. I got the same order I always do a twistee twirl with banana and coconut. I got home it was peanut butter cups and some other chocolate candy. We went back tonight my girlfriend informed the woman behind the window our order was wrong last night. She was cut off and told that was a big mistake and we obviously took the wrong order. I said no her's was correct mine wasn't. We were told they don't make mistakes like that and we should have called we explained it was at close so we couldn't have called nobody else was there so it was not a different order. I have never had a problem in all these years the woman behind the window was significantly older and had glasses no apology. She was rude I still ordered ice cream but it will be my last trip I have always had great customers service with the younger girls that work this whoever was there tonight I hope was only a fill in because twistee treat will lose a lot of business and I will...
