I love PDQ and I prefer it to Chick-fil-A. If you're still reading I'll give you my reasons why: 1.) Presentation 2.) Quality 3.) Consistency 4.) Discounts/Promotions 5.) Dipping Sauce Array 6.) Sweet Potato Fries 7.) Seasonal offering rotation
I have yet to be failed by PDQ as a whole. The way they treat their customers is the pinnacle of how a restaurant should be handled. The people are always friendly and never give you a hard time. The coke machines installed have a plethora of offerings. The shakes are hands down one of the best I've ever tasted and I've compared them many around the area especially those that deal primarily with desserts.
They don't stray too far from their wheelhouse which is chicken so they don't goof when it comes to offerings as these go through a nice rigor of tasting before offering.
The reward program is a clear indication that they care about their customers and don't prey on how much you spend there unlike other establishments for being loyal. They know they'll win your business because they are people dedicated to quality. The presentation of each sandwich comes out identical to advertisements and the menu which are beautiful. I humbly pledge my allegiance to them and have ventured to countless PDQ facilities in Florida because I know my business is valued and the food will be good period.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I'm open to your remarks but will defend PDQ.
My current favorite: Chicken Sandwich extra pickles, no tomatoes with buffalo blue, ranch, Chipotle BBQ served with tater tots (yes they offer regular fries). I dunk my sandwich in sauces along with my tots. Mint oreo is the shake as it's amazing and so darn good from the sip to the last nite, as the chunks of Oreos lines the bottom waiting to be eaten. When Fall hits, it's the Fall Menu special - Turkey Butterball Sandwich, which would convert any religious zealot into a new...
Read moreI have a love hate relationship with this location.
Super nice employees. Food does 95% of the time taste great.
However, they do seem to forget little things sometimes. Second time visiting, they forgot my fries. Twice they forgot the cheese I paid extra for on my chicken sandwich. This time....those things listed before I can forget, but this one I cannot.
I mentioned they forgot to add cheese to my sandwich the other day, and they did slide a "next meal is on us" card into my bag. I am thankful, however .......the picture below is what sets me off. The fries are about 2$. Cheese is a 1.20 a slice. which means that is a total of $4.40 with the fries. Just look at this sandwich.....the meal was 11$. Just can't believe it can even pass as a chicken breast. This is a sandwich for little kids who like the extra spice.
I hate confrontation so I don't even wanna mention it to them and honestly, I am sure they would make up for it. We'll have to see the next time I go in.
Edit 01/18/23:
Got an order. This time I didn't ask fo cheese. Manager put it on for me. I've gone way too much because she knows me by name now and what cheese I like. Either way, bumped it up a star because while I hate complaining to get things, she didn't have to do it. And it's things like that is what makes...
Read moreThis place has gone terribly down hill this year . Food use to be fresh but now it’s either hours old or they just refry (yes they actually stick something cooked back in the fryer to heat it up) it . I’ve had it done dozens of times and I know it’s my fault I keep going back but it’s in my neighborhood and it really did use to be a great place for fast food . They triple bread EVERYTHING now so there’s barely any actual chicken involved. This place was my go to instead of chick fila (they had better waffle fries and chicken ) but they just stopped caring and stopped trying . I’ve complained politely dozens of times this is my last resort . I’ve sent my food back for new food maybe 50 times after noticing it was old and reheated good that sat there probably the entire day and they know who I am and I make sure I ask for fresh food every time I go when I pay and 99 out of 100 times it will be old food reheated or quadruple breaded chicken jerky that couldn’t get more rubbery l. I’m sitting in the parking lot of the store as I type this because I’m so upset about striking out again ,guess it’s back to chic fila or zaxbys . Picture below is all the breading on just 2...
