PDQ Wellington — Restaurant in Florida

Not sure what happened today but I have visited here before with great experience. I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich with no pickles and they gave me a spicy chicken sandwich with pickles and no pdq sauce. Did not see until I got back to work. Not sure how you mess that up when were telling the order directly to their face. Ordered mac & cheese that was a mistake definitely not what I pictured when ordering mac & cheese, just needs to be taken off the menu!!!! Then they had us pull up and wait for the order sat there waiting for 7 minutes so we went into grab it. The lady at the front seen me walking up so she quickly grabbed the order. I find it very unfair having to wait when going through the drive thru for a fast service and you ask to pull up and wait meanwhile my food was just sitting on the counter for probably 5 of the 7 minutes I was waiting. I could understand if you guys were actually working on the food but it was literally just sitting up there on the counter. I work not even 2 minutes from PDQ so not only was my sandwich wrong but it was cold.. I really don't understand what is up with the staff today but today just really isn't their day apparently... I could expect this from McDonald's...

This PDQ has wonderful managers and a young staff that all work their butts off! They rarely make mistakes if ever, which doesn't even bother me because they are all so polite and willing to jump into action to make things right! They are all just a really nice group of kids working here, that you can tell are REALLY trying! You just don't see that at McDonald's. And they all look like they enjoy being there, and are all happy. That's great to see, cause they always make me leave happy and smiling!!!

Anyways, the food is always so amazing! It is always very hot and very fresh! I always receive my order in less than 2-3min. Basically never had to wait. The inside of the restaurant is always very clean, the area behind the counter is always EXTREMELY clean, the outside parking lot is always very clean! I actually visited the restrooms once in one of my visits... The restrooms were decent, not bad. (I mean it wasn't kept like EVERY OTHER inch of this place, but it was clean compared to any other fast food restaurant establishment) OVERALL I 100% DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PDQ TO ANY AND...

I've only been here a handful of times, but all my visits have been good.

Reasonably priced food and very good tasting. The chicken tenders definitely taste fresh to order and are delicious. The honey mustard I get to dip them in is also very good. I don't know if they make their own sauces or not, but they are definitely delicious.

I forget that PDQ serves waffle fries, they're very crispy and crunchy which I like. They kind of remind me of Chick Fil A waffle fries, I'm not bashing, both make very good waffle fries.

My only minor complaint is that I wish the little tins of sauce were a little bit bigger, but they do give you two of them so you have plenty to dip your chicken and fries in. I'm sure you could ask for more if you feel like you need it, the staff are pretty accommodating to requests.

Also, special shoutout to employee Thomas. Very polite and welcoming to me and other customers I saw him interact with. He also memorized my name from a previous visit to make that part of the ordering process easier. If I were his manager I would give him...
